well i was out at the local races again. and for all the haters who said our cars can't beat a b16 si. I whooped that one and now I beat an 02 si 2 times. By about a car. The start was pretty close but everytime it was the shift from 1st to second that made the gap. Im not gonna front though. we ran from a roll and he got me there by like a fender. But what do you want. They guy gets whooped by an ex with intake and exhaust 2 times off the line and acts like it's cool but then well he wins by like a fender on a roll against a slower car, he puts on the hazards and goes all nuts.

im trying to get a hold of the video. I have the vid of me beating the 00 Si and 3 diff. drivers, and i have vid of the 02 si. I just need to find the program that allows the vid. to be uploaded to the computer. Ever since I changed my shift point from redline to 6500RPM's i've been running alot better.I'll try to get the vids up this weekend for all those haters. me loosing on the roll shows that the diff. in power isn't that great between the 2 but if you eat them off the line, they don;t have much of a chance at catching you before the 1/4. the si's put down like 140 @ the wheels and with mods i think I put down 115. Plus i have everything from the driver and pass. seats gutted and I always go out to run on less than a 1/4 tank of gas.
Good kill. It also depends on the driver, even if the Si is a bit faster.

Did ya beat them power shifting or quick shifting?? I was kinda thinking our EX's would hang with an SI. I was coming home from work last week and a dude in a 00 SI started messin with me and we both dropped it into 2nd gear and from 45-70 i got ahead at least by half a car length, with him having the jump on me. But i don't really know for sure how much he was laying on the gas. I hope WOT, cuz i was. I live in a small town so i've been trying to run into him again to see if he was just trying to make me feel better, haha. Let ya know what i find out.

Rep Power: 0 nah, On a roll the si has got us no questions asked. whenever i rolled an si they will pull because of the power dif. but off the line the driver determines it.

theres a couple of 02 si's running around down here with the cybernation kit and SFP kit. putting down 250-270whp at 6psi. thats not too bad seeing how we need to boost like 14psi to get that kind of power
oh there is no doubt that with evenly matched driver that an si would beat our cars. im not saying that my car has more hp than an si, Im just saying that i have beaten alot of si's down here. Never once did i say my car is faster than the si, just that i have been a better driver then most that i have encountered at the races and won.
whenever i ran against an si from a roll(which they all want to do after they get whooped like 4 times from a stop) they always walk on me but only by like a fender or 1/2 a car max.

I can see that happening. We detailed on a little while ago and the gearing in the new SI's seem so much different. We were in 5th passing cars on the expressway without having to downshift. Was nice.
