So im delivering pizza in my 93' corsica LT (3.1v6) and there this small lowered Maroon colored S-10 RIDDING my ****, really pissing me off. So i tap the brakes, and he swerves around to my left side. I have my stereo working hard, and all my windows down *its a sedan* hes got limo tinted windows, so i look over give him the finger, and continue driving. I always go a steady 5-10 over speed limit, cops let most delievery drivers off with that. And he starts speeding up, so do I, we are approaching a hill ahead where cops like to camp, and where im suppose to turn off to my store. Come up over the hill and decide that im gonna show him how to get beat by a family sedan. Smash the pedal to the floor, and he downshifts, were dead even when we both hit it, but then we both shift up a gear, him into 3rd, me into 2nd *its a 4 speed auto* and i start pulling on him like michael jackson dragging kids into his room. I take a side street to come back around to my store, *obviously missed it* and park infront, get out, and there is 2 guys standing there, and a manager, they look at me as im walking *im like oh **** im in trouble* they look at me "You whoop his ***?" I looked at em smiled, said ya and continued on with my job, racing always leaves me with a smile for a bit *i rarely do race*. When I do i win, i race smart, dont race ppl u know u will lose against, only those u THINK u can take, and dont bother with the losers. I was not sure if i could take this guy, because I knew the S-10 could be hauling a Vortec engine. Guess he wasnt

manual on a truck can be tough to shift with for racing, so that wouldn't be a big advantage to him. and with the 4.3L vortec, he'd lay down mid 15's on a good day at the track with a stock engine. so nice kill, but once you get over the truck torque, they aren't that fast.

many of those xtremes just had 4 cylinders too

My grandma with bad hips can beat Those 4 bangers they put in s-10s. i used to have a blazer with the vortec and it hauled. My friend had the 4 cylinder and was gettin smoked by fat guys walkin down the street. But any ways its always great when you can put a punk in his place with a corsica. Way to take the chance and smoke his ***.

I had a 95 S-10 5 speed. I could spin the tires into 3rd and chirps up to 3rd, butthe top end is slowwwwwwwww, had to get a new motor at 18,000 miles, it was junk from the begining, but i never blew it. a 92 jetta and a 83 GTi kicked my a$$.

Well mine is no slow poke, and no pos thats for sure, I prefer it over my civic, it is actually MORE reliable. I make civic my bitch3s with my family sedan in this town . Got my *** handed to me by a prelude with a H23 swap

yeah i had an xtreme w/ the 4 banger and boy was that bitch slow. the only thing i liked about it was it handled awsome and it was a smooth riding truck.
