one good night! long... 9:00pm---My friends in a lancer es and im in my civic. we goo cruising through the streets to 43rd and p (chicago people should know this), and check out the races. Of course i dont condone illegal racing, but what they hey gotta live once in youre life. well i speed up and get there first only to see no one is there. Too early to the party...so with nothing to do i wait for my friends to come. Up comes a v6 eclispse, i say sure im bored, i lose anyway who cares it good fun.
1030pm---My friends come up and they say "wheres everybody?", dont know, dont care. theres like four other guys with him, so they get out, and me my friend have go down the straight. i lose horribly cus i did a neutral drop and he never let off the gas. Second time we go, we se people behind us lining up for a run, "yeah the party is just starting." And i take him out like he was standing still.
1045pm---people are rolling in like crazy, pimped out riceboy mustangs, civics, accords, even a couple pontiac grand ams and grand prizs come around. by 1115 the big dogs started to show up. Protoge fives on gunmetals, couple sleeper civics, couple sleeper accords, a baby blue civic, two 350z comtplety decked out come by, a sti also rolls in while a bundh of fbodies and j bodies roll around the "parking" area. This is just becoming a good night.
1145am---theres almost 150-200 people on the streets checking out two main events, a fc rx-7 going against a cobra, both do huge burnouts, but only te cobra won. The next race was just orgasmic, a suped up truck (friends confirm it to be a GMC CYCLONE) with m/t drag radials and the cobra. he gave the cobra a eight car head start, and still beat his *** like he was standing still YEAH. by 12 midnight, some one said cops, and my friend saw a paddy wagion, and everybody ran for their lives. in only two-three minutes the place was cleared. i meet up with my friend and discuss it had to ba a false alarm, and cruise down the mobil gas station up ahead. practically every ones doing burnouts there that arent filling up/ or parking. i find ou from a nother racer it was a false alarm to get the posers/cowards to leave so they could have the field open up for the big dogs to play in.
1210 am we all go back to the streets, park and everything starts way up again. checkout the sleeper civics and accords play with the riceboys, sleeper wins of course. then the blue civic (w/ wing big enough to fly with ) took on a prelude w/ a wing and fart can. the civic tok him off the line and didnt stop.
the races continued till 1am when I had to leave otherwise get kicked out of the house, so i get on i 90/94 west head for home. From no where a silver civic coupe lowered, with exhaust comes flying by on the far left. I say "what they hell" and catch up to him doing 80 mph. He seems to get excited i wanted to play, and its on. i play follow the leader on the freeway going up 110 mph, thank god for very light traffic. Then i pass him and he follows me for the ramainder of the trip before we go our seperate ways into the junction. Dude then waves and i do the the same and accelerate. Mind you i had nothing on my car what so ever, except for some soft compound tires. But i kept up with him the entire time.
ALL IN IT WAS DEFINTELY A VERY GOOD NIGHT.
