Cool T'was A Good Night

Last night at the drags I got some good runs in against 2 6th Gens, an Accord, a G2 Teggy and a old turbo Porsche..

Race #1: 6th Gen Dx: this 6th gen had only an intake. Easy win. I got him by about 6 cars

Race #2: 6th Gen Lx: He just had an intake and a Greddy cat-back. Beat him worse than I beat the other 6th gen (maybe he was letting his girlfriend shift for him)

Race #3: 92 Accord Ex: This guy was talking mad sh*t about my 7th gen. You know, the usual: "Man those new Hondas suck. The suspensions are totally different, the intake manifold is plastic, they are heavy (Like 2500 pounds is heavy ) and the engines are hard to work with!" I had the most fun with this race, put a good bus and a half lengths on him (6 cars)

Race #4: 944 Turbo: This race was sad. My friend said it was like putting down a legend. This Porsche was in such terrible condition. An ugly ticking noise, crack windsheild, two-tone paint job. This was one of my favorite Porsches, so I felt bad. I beat it by about
4 1/2 cars, not something that I was proud of I raced him again and it was still about the same

Race #5: G2 Integra: This was the best race. My friend who bought his primered 92 Integra LS for $700 bucks gave me a really good run. He only had cams and an intake. We both come off the line at the same time, but he starts to pull about half a car lengths in from of me, I go into 2nd gear and I start to catch up, I get about half a cars lead on him. Since he was a DOHC I thought that he was going to pull on me, but we crossed the line like that.

All n' All, T'was a pretty good night

"Did You Know!?!": At this cheap little drag strip they only time the cars on Fridays with the Amatuer Lights. But on Sundays they don't clock the cars, but they have the Pro Lights. I like it better actually.
