Nice video!! Where was that by the way? There's a canyon by my house that some friends and I cruise through every once in a while. We went through there one time with a WRX, Mustang Bullitt, Camaro Z28, some SRT 4's, S2000, a couple M3's and a few other cars, it was awesome!! I've got quite a few videos of the canyon runs, as well as some other runs we've done in the past.
That is not an ordinary rabbit tis the most foul cruel beast

Cool vid, but From watching the un edited one..... By listing when you are on the gas and such I could recomend a few techenques that would help you greatly in your moutain carving.
1. Learn heel toe shifting ( you should be in the lower gear before you are exiting the corner, so you downshift and brake at the same time so you are in the right gear for exiting the corner).
2. Lean to Left foot brake; for corners where you dont need to down shfit left foot braking will lower the amount of time spent coasting (Nither being on the gas or the brake) giving you that little extra time on the gas. It can also help stabilize the car mid turn. You can also use it to intigate a bit of oversteer if nessisary.
Download one of the two videos and listen for where I downshift, there are 2 downshifts in each vid, see if you can find them.

One other thing that may save your ***, I dont konw what brake pads you are running but i suggest getting a High performance pad EBC Green or red will do, I run with Porterfield R4-S, and upgrade the brake fluid (DOT 4 is better, DOT 5.1 would be the best, avoid DOT 5). How fast you can go form corner to corner depends alot on how well you can stop the car, and overheating the brakes is not fun.

Here's another tip... don't use the gas as an on/off switch. Progressively get on in from the apex on out... it'll help pull you out of the corner and it'll obviously be quicker since you're on the gas more. Go into this folder
then click the one that says mounttest1... you'll see what I mean

True true, I for got about that.... Smoothness is the key, and that means being smooth with all of the controls, Gas, Brake, shifting, steering ect.... But being smooth doesnt mean being slow.
