i was searching for the fastest 0-60 time, and what do you know.... the fastest i found was a lingenfelter corvette. I have been saying that for about 2 years, and most people dont believe me. Anyway, this is a street car on pump gas.

yes, that is a 1.97 sec 0-60, 4.33 sec 0-100, and a, 8.95 sec 1/4 @ 153 mph.

I could rip that car apart and spit it out, just check out my timeslip data, lol. I can easily get sub 1 second 0-60 times, no sweat. Under 3 seconds to 100 too, and a sub 5 second 1/4 mile @ well over 200 mph. Also my car can hold 5.0+ g's on the skid pad, and that's in the wet! Pretty damned good for only 127hp, it's all about the VTEC...Ok no seriously, the Lingenfelter Corvette is an amazing piece of machinery, I wonder what they'll be able to do with the C6 Vette...

I think that's average. Mine is also 9 - 10 days. . I mean seconds. . lol.
I haven't been to the track or anything, and with a needle gauge it's hard to tell exactly when you hit 60, but for a stock Vic, 8 or 9 seconds is about right.

Haha, My Taurus SHO can do 0-60 in 6.7.. Get real. Get a V6.
"Depending on your parts, which I didn't look up, you are about $1000 worth of mods on your car and you are doing 8.5? You gotta drive that thing like you mean it."
If I had that much for my Lincoln Town Car I'd be pushing easily about 8.5 sec with a 4,300# car!
It's all about torque off the line, so if you can possibly find it with a 4 cylinder, supercharge or turbo will do just that.
