went to the track last sunday

any way i went to the track on sunday and saw an eclipse beat a viper the eclipse had after market bov and intercooler and staright pipe. and an 80's model civic hb all motor run like an 8.5. and my freinds 02 mustang. you know the car that should be hard to beat for a 7th gen. yeah it has an exahust intake headers pulley kit and a few other things and only ran a 10.7 real hard to beat . and it was not driver error. any way i ran a 10.4 and my freind's ecllipse gs ran a 10.2 so it was pretty cool seeing a viper get beat buy an import and seeing how fast mustangs really arent.

So any way my car=10.4 with i/h/e and half a pulley kit i only have the power stering pulley on and have not gotten around to doing the altenator pulley. oww and a vtec head but hey that dosent help right?? and i also had half a tank of gas my tires at reguler psi and about 50 lbs worth of junk in my trunk.

my time slip

hmm your civic must pull like a monster to get a 2.466 60' and still hit 10.4 most GT-S celicas barely run times like that.

Was it Auto? Was it a Vert? because I ran a 10.0 with a crappy 2.3 60ft, with just exhaust PLUS half tank of gas, heavy 17's, and Florida weather my FIRST time to the track.

it was like 65 degrees. i live in texas so it is always hot. and yaeh i could not get my take offs down perfect so if i get my 60 foot time down i might could see 10.3 or 10.2. but the stock 14's are not cuting it. i was thinking about lowring my tire pressure to help my take off. and yeah i wish this were 1/4 mile times that would be bad ***.

we have a couple of that at our tracks too even going so far as to run skinnies in the rear. if I see em like usual on thursday I'll post some pics of them. I wanna find the 7thgen civic that occasionally runs 9.0's out here.
