EX vs GST
Well, me and my friend were getting out from the college parking lot and some other friend of mine was right in front of me and really wanted to race. I refused a million times before because I knew the guy would kill me, but this time, I had no choice. He got on a two lane road on the left side, and I got on the right side. We were next to each other doing like 20 mph, and he started revving and then took off, but slowed down because I was still just driving regularly. A few seconds after that we were side by side again, and I was like...what the hell, so I floored it. I was a bumper in front of him, but 1-2 seconds later he was pulling like crazy, and had 1, 2, and finally almost 3 cars in front of me. We shut down and he made a U-turn. By the way, he has a 1995(I think) Eclipse GST 5 spd. I have a 02 EX 5 spd.
Anyways, I got my *** whooped, but it was fun. I hate those turbos. I think his car has 210 hp or something.

Tell him that you will race when all things are equal (you are boosted) and then see what happens. I always liked the eclipse...the funny thing is that for twice the price of a turbo you could probably buy his car lol. Oh well, I didnt get my civic for its rediculous performance.

the term ls/vtec refers to a frankenstein engine in a sense... (a stock ls has no vtec)
it's the b18 bottom of an ls engine with the head of either a B16a or B18c vtec engine.

hard to tell but i had about 4 lengths on him by the time we shut down (at about 80mph or so)
he was also modded, not JUST the ls/vtec swap, but gears, internals built up, exhaust, header, intake, etc.
I also missed 2nd a little when I went to shift to 2nd.
