Si vs EX
02 Si vs 7th Gen EX
Wednesday night
I had 2 others in my car (the si) and he had one other. we were at a stop light and it turned green. we didnt go off the line, but i could hear his exhaust going loud and could tell he wasnt shifting out of first. When he went into second, so did I. towards the end of second gear is when we started going. he gunned it, and so did I. he had maybe a quarter of a length jump on me once he gunned it, but i dont think it was anymore than that. i shifted to 3rd just before my rev limiter hit, and once i was in third i kept on pulling on him. i hit like 85 and shut down. by that time i think i had like 4 - 5 lengths on him, but i cant be certain.
me: bones stock
him: i'm not sure, but i think he has CAI / Exhaust, but otherwise is stock.

Rep Power: 0 i thought the car lenghts would be less too, and it may have been more like 3 lengths. i couldnt tell for certain because i glanced in my mirror, but went back to the road so i could slow down safely. either way i beat him by alot, IMO.

Rep Power: 0 I have class with a kid who just bought a 00 Si, Its just stock right now but he says he wants to modify it. He seems like a good kid, so I'm cool with him. This morning we met up in the parking lot at school and he said he wanted to run one time, and I had mentioned the same before as well, so I said sure! We did the best 2 out of 3. The first run I spanked him royally by about 3 car lengths or better. He said he wasnt paying attention so I said alright lets do it again, so anyway. The first one I won but the third was the most fair out of all 3 races. We both came out of the hole at the same time and I actually beat him off the line and all the way through 1st gear. Half way through 2nd and came up neck to neck with me and then 3 third gear came and he was able to pull away ever so slightly, but not like crazy. He did however manage to get about a car length and a half ahead maybe even 2 car lengths which was a gradual gain, but I still kept up with him. Afterward I was a little disappointed because losing is still losing but I went out onto the street knowing that hes still puttin out more horses out of the box even still after my few mods. I would have to say I was satisfied though in how well my EX stood up to the all mighty world renown B16A, because he didnt pull on me hard enough to really impress. After January of this year though he and many others like him will certainly be owned.
