civic vs acura cl?

havent posted in a while, but here goes. i was coming home from work the other night, a white acura, i think a cl... it was shaped similar to a lincoln mark viii come flying up behind me, cuts into the lane next to me pauses and takes off. i just kinda laughed and kept my speed. he then slows down until i come even with him and accelerates and then brakes a few times. i kinda got irritated at this point and purged a couple times. he jumped again so i dropped into third at about 60. i sprayed through third and into fourth until we came up on traffic. i ended up a car ahead, but it seems like he should have ***-raped me. anyone know anything about the cl?

Hmm... they may claim 260HP crank (Type-S), but they arent that fast. A BMW 330 with less claimed crank HP is compareable. They are kinda heavy too. But then again it could have been the base model engine, I think has 220HP.

well...you were spraying...if traffic didn't stop you two and you kept racing him...he will pull on you. Even if hes a base model.

What kind of CL? and what kind of ETs do you run. I have a CL-S.

CL-S Autos typically run mid to high 14s stock, and with I/H/E are capable of low to mid 14s. The 03 6 speeds are generally a couple of tenths faster. with best times for I/H/E being around 13.9

i actually havent been to the track yet. it was from a roll so there wasnt a lot of drivers skill involved, just downshift and go

CL/TL's are in their prime from 50mph to 110mph. race one from a 50mph roll.
