quick shifting tip for the 03 dx (and others?)

I found a good way to determine how far the clutch needs to be down by putting my foot half on the clutch half off to the door (the left) and when im shifting theres a foot rest type thing that will stop your foot from going to far down but just far enough for the clutch to engange im not sure if this is common knowledge or not but i thought i would share. it really works and its pretty much the exact point where you need to be at and it saves the terrible grind of a mishift. well do with this what you will it just prooved useful to me thanks

um technicly you dont need the clutch to upshift..... I dont recomend it, but it can be done. Once you get better at shifting, you'll find that you only do a quick stab at the clutch when you're ingaging the next gear Rather then holdig the clutch for the entire gear changing process, no need to use the clutch to pop it in to nutural.....
