drove my friends rsx-s

yesterday, my friend let me take his rsx-s for a little joy ride with him in the car. The first thing i noticed was his really really tight steering, it was so hard to turn the wheel, very sporty. when i got into my car, i felt a big difference lol, all i have to say is that it is fast, first gear didnt impress me too much, but second and third is much much stronger than our second and third, i felt like every time i swithced gears, the car just kept pulling and pulling and pulling as opposed to feeling a big decrease in acceleration when switching in our cars. i really didnt test out the handeling but the clutch felt really nice, i belive its worth the 23k for it.

Yes, it is a nice sports car for 23K. My dad wants to get a 2003 RSX-S. Me and him went to the acura dealer and looked at them. He didnt want to test drive it, so I test drove it while he sat in the back. He loved it. He wants to get on after he finishes paying off my car, which will mostly likely the end of this year to early next year. Im looking at a engine swap with the cybernation turbo, while he wants the type-s with the cybernation turbo.

not trying to be an a$$ but you should pay off your car and he should get the new one now but thats just my opinion. I mean 20 yrs old and your dad is paying for your car??? that just doesnt seem right. oh well rsx-s is a good car once you slap hondata into it!!

Yes it is. Not many cars under 23 can beat it. Plus the car looks great, and the type S comes very nicely equipped. If I had 23 grand before I bought my car....Guess what??

yes, it may not be the FASTEST car for 23k and under.
most people do not buy a car just because of how much HP and TQ it has besides young spoiled rich kids.
The S has power, style, quality, very nice overall for 23k.

yes, there is a trade off between all speed, and style/comfort, etc.

the rsxs stock is nearly a second slower than my stock sedan. bare bone (no options) rex's roll off the floor at approx 23 k. these are also cars which are easily modified, and can take inclement weather with ease. many people dont like the looks of the rex, so if you want looks the slower of the two is for you. (the tradeoff i was speaking of)

edit: dont even bring up the srt. ALL speed for the money (for a 4 banger).

its just personal perference...look at how much the lexus sc430 is, 63k for 300hp v8
and the g35 coupe, 32k for 280hp
both very luxurious, great power, great style, but my personal preference, i would take the g35 all day over the sc430.

RSX type s would prob be very close with a auto wrx. Manual wrx would def beat a type s.
