I've got to agree; I think SpdRcrChk has some skills and the slips and vids to back it up. Nothing u do to your car short of having oil or napalm shoot out the back can be considered cheating. The way I see it, it doesn’t matter if the other cars knew she had giggle gas or not. If you accept a race, you are basically putting your skills and your ride up against what you think you have a shot of beating. If you lose it’s because of either a lack of skills, speed, or mainly experience. Racing is a delicate blend of art and science. If you roll out against an old talon with your shiny new vic and think that just because you have a newer car that you are going to beat him you are badly mistaken. This fool could have a T3 and a built motor to match. You’ve gotta be willing to lay it on the line if you want to have any fun out there.

WHATS RONG WITH THAT GUY HATIN ON THE NITRUS... dude.. a RACE is a RACE... even though i HATE EMM... but its sorta like this... IF u race sumone.. and u loose to them becuase they hadda turbo in there car or they had nitrus.. that was UR fauklt for getin in tha race... so quit wining... spend sum money.. get sum for ur self so u can atleast win

spdrcrchk what i don't get is that i'm not the one hating or anything, and u got to sit there talking about my ricer graphics and lights. that night the best run i had was a 14.8, the time we raced i sat there in first and some of second spinning my tires. but hey i only have a 35 shot of nitrous. u know, what let me know next time u go to bird road and i'll bring a video recorder and we'll go at it again.

First of all.....i have a right to an opinion. If i think your graphics and altezza's are ricey then that's my personal opinion. I'm not hating OR asking u to change it for me.....u do whatever u want to ur car, it's all you and again, that's just my opinion, not hating. If i wanted to hate i woulda talked more crap about your car....but i didn't.

Secondly....i never said that was your best time. That's the only time I SAW personally, and as i mentioned before...i didn't know what your best time was. I never said you ran less or more. So what is your beef?

Finally....you go ahead and get urself to bird road and film yourself racing. But there's no way i'm putting myself in that predicament. That's the last place I personally want to race. If you're trying to prove a point, why don't you get yourself to the track and improve upon your time?

I don't need to make excuses for anything. What i ran is what i ran on the first time at the track on n2o.

Your MPH was good enough to run a 13. Gettin our cars into 13's would be a great achievement for us all as a GROUP. But like i said...your MPH was good enough to run 13's and THAT my friend is not believeable on a 35 shot (unless you have more than just the usual bolt on's).

I got SOME wheel spin but not much. I feathered the gas IN and feathered the clutch OUT on that last pass. As u can tell by thre time slip...the r/t wasnt very good. It's mainly because i was more concerned on getting a better launch than I had had all night.

THe last pass I believe I launched a 4k. BUT....i think it can be improved upon....like PlatCruiser said...by lowering the tire pressure more and maybe increasing the RPM's a bit.

Honestly guys..that was my first time on nitrous at the track. I'm sure alot of you that are more experieneced can do even better. But just goes to show u what these little D17's are capable of.

What kit and what jets? I'm having a hard time believing you trapped 98mph with anything less than a 50 shot.

i believe greengoblin. you also got to take in consideration that the drivers make a big difference. maybe greengoblin is a better driver than spdrcrchk. maybe theres a weight factor in the race. who knows! but from my point of view greengoblin is the better racer cause with the 35 shot hes only .1 away from a 50 shot that spdrcrchk has. greengoblin try a 50 shot and let us know how everything goes at the track?

you obviously don't understand time slips or HP. If you looked at other time slips he ran a 15.4 at 98!! Lemme say it again 98!! With a 3.0 60ft. thats its is horrible. Chop that down to a 2.2 and thats easily a low 14 second time.

You may believe it or not but with my 5 years of experience with nitrous there is no way he is running a 35 shot and trapping 98 in a motor that makes just over 100whp stock.

As far as the weight factor goes....my car MIGHT be a little heavier but not TOO much. He was runnin aftermarket wheels just like i was in the back with stocks in the front as i was too. He's also got a body kit....i do too. So in that area we SHOULD be close to even.

flash...we're not sayin whether or not he's a bad driver. Simply saying that with that trap speed (98mph) his car is capable of an even better time than a 14.8. And low 14's to high 13's which is what his trap speed suggests is not believable on a 35 shot.

actually 98 mph is possible with only a 35 shot. i ran my car the other night with the following mods
intake,header,high flow cat,2.25 catback,clutch,aem pullies, stock wheels with 185/65/15 tires at 15 psi. and an adj. cam gear adv. 3 degrees.
my best run was 15.4@91 mph with a 2.2 60 ft time and a 9.98 1/8 mile. i would post the slip but im uh "between houses" and have to get online at the library. now i dont know alot about nitrous but im guessing the guy sprayed off the light cause i have had some bad launches but never over 2.7 60 time.

on a side note and off topic (sorry spdrcrchk) Patcruiser- how you like that srt? there is one for sale at the dealer here and im thinking about buying it. i tried once before but they wanted 22k for it USED. they bought it in florida and drove it back, then sold it to a girl who couldnt get insurance on it, so they took it back. plus they tried to screw the me once so im only buying it if they give it to me for 13k.

Again not to be a ****, but 7mph with a 35 shot is not happening. 50 shot yes I believe it in a second. 35 will get you 3-4 maybe pushing it 5. 50 is good for 7-10.

When someone else claimed that this guy who ran 15.4 was the better driver, a 3.0 60ft is the worst I've EVER seen. He needs practice but he has a potentially quick car on his hands.

Just tell me the jets and I can tell you the shot. Was it a 35 nitrous/20fuel?

I like it a lot, you won't get one for 13k its a limited edition car for the 03 model year. Only 3375 were made.

The red one in the sig is mine, it has a few tweeks done to it. Added a bigger turbo (T3T4E) , CAI, 3" exhaust boost controller at 15 psi it put down 291/290. Then I jetted the car for a 75 shot and it put down 378/397. Not bad for a few month old car
