The auto cant even spin the tires off the line where the manaul can spin all you want(this shows how more capable the manual is at putting the power to the ground compared to auto).I used to always race my friend in his v6 mustang auto in my auto vic(sri and exaust) and would lose by like 2 cars now when i we race with my manaul vic(cai) i beat him off the line and win by about 2 1/2 cars. Ive raced alot of people i used to loose to and now i win.
sure we could race and sure i may lose but i PROMISE you i will not lose by 2 1/2 cars. i highly doubt i would lose by 1. in fact come race me in about a month and i will show you how "slow" a AT is, you will have your handed to you over and over again
AT are slow off the line but i think a lot of people underestimate them, you can change shift points and add a torque converter and you can end up with a AT that will not only keep up with a MT but will be 100X's easier to drive during midday traffic.

in a race spinning the tires is a bad thing, a VERY bad thing. i know you didnt say "in a race" but still, spinning in 2nd is a waste.

so anyway, real men drive stick... I'm sure I heard that somewhere. Nothing wrong with dirving an AT, I love'em... but to race??? gotta go with the MT. maybe when I get a pimpdaddy ACura or something, i'll drive AT till then... manual all the way.

Ok do you even know what i have done to my car chances are ill still rape you. Let me guess your gonna turbo your auto. Been there done that the transmission is weak. It better to put the money for a turbo into a manual and turbo that.

yeah my auto used to spin its tires untill i started pushing more power and then my auto had a lot of slippage in it. Mabe if you actually had some power you might know what im talkin about loser.

ok you obviously dont know much about either
A. cars
B. turbo's
C. all of the above
just cuz you turbo a car doesnt mean your gonna blow your tranny. its a little thing called "boost" and its adjustable. so since you "been there, done that" i guess your just someone with money but dont take the time to look into things. we have a forced induction forum, you should check in there sometimes, you might learn something.

ps- learn to use"QUOTE" feature

ok hey im over arguing with you. I used to have a ex auto coupe. I worked all summer and saved up 3200 dollars. I was going to order a turbo kit(from sf of corse). I wanted to run 9 psi daily with the alchol injection, big turbo upgrade. There was no way my tranny was going to hold up well at that psi. I had alreay had slippage without the turbo so I figured im going to spend all this money and buy turbo just to have a transmission that couldnt harness the power. Yeah i could of built the transmission with the jmo tourqe converter and transimission cooler(trust me i looked in to this and it was going to be over a $1000. Then i realized why spend all this money and still have a slush box even though it wouldnt be as bad. A week before i was going to talk to sf to get the turbo i just said screw it and was going to trade in my civic for another civic. I did and i think I am much happier for doing it. The manaul is alot funner to drive and is faster than my ex ever was. I do kno about cars and i have spent many hours studing turbos and how they work. I dont care if you listen to me cause you prob wont im just speaking form my experience. Take it for what it is.

How would turboing a car affects its transmission you ask. Well common sence would lead you to beleive that pushing twice as much power through an already weak transmission(Honda is know for producing weak auto trannies) is obviously goona affect it.

Wow boost is ajustable-dam you really kno your ****-sarcasim
