So im sitting at a plaza where i always hang out at night when theres nothing to do...and a cop pulls in to the plaza and they usually hassle us and tell us to leave, that we cant hang out there...but this cop was really nice he started talking to us about what we re doing, and how we cant find something more fun to do then chill @ a plaza...so anyways after about a 5 minute conversation with the cop, he drives off and as he passes all our cars which were my buddy's brand new white s2000, my other friends 93 civic (done up nice too) and a few other done up cars, and then mine at the end, he stops at my car, then stays there, and all of a sudden he comes back in reverse, Me and all my friends were convinced that hes gonna hassle us about the cars, but he asked whos is the last car, all the way at the end there? Im like which one, hes like the grey civic i think! I said ohh its mine, why? (I thought i was parked in handicap parking maybe) he says i just wanted to tell you that your car looks amazing, that its so nice, dont do anymore to it, its perfect the way it is! nicest looking car ive seen! I was soo surprised, i mean its just a civic with a nice paint job and 18's...and lowered! and the fact that i was parked next to a brand new gorgeous Honda S2000...
I have the crappiest car out of my friends, alot of you know that because youve seen my friends cars, they are all double if not triple the cost of my car!
Anyways it made me feel good when a cop actually when out of his way to tell me my car was so nice!

i got a compliment from a little kid (about 6 y.o.) when i entered the mall the other day. i stepped out of my car and hes like whoa pimp ride and im like laughing. and then he came up to me and my friend in the mall and we gave him a chik fil a mint for being so kind

Same here...I was washing my car on my driveway, and a little kid who riding his bike by my house, came on my driveway and said, "Thats a really nice car, is it lowered?"

All they ever say is.. 'wow.. is that a race car?'.. or "hey mister. is that a racer car".. or "hey man, do you race that thing.. it looks nice."

All the young kids seem to care about is the racing.. it's not just the racing.. you live it with or without the street racing.. some people actually track their cars.. (still racing.. but ya know).

But yes.. that's kewl man.. closest I ever had was.. eh.. um.. on westhiemer.. a cop blares over the speaker phone... "is that a race car?".. god damn ****ers.. yes.. but you wont see it happen.. !!! lol.

Props from the Cops are nice!! I was parking my car on the street next to some house having a BBQ outside on the 4th; I was going to my friends' party down the street. I got outta my car and all these peeps at the BBQ just stopped and looked at me, then one guy shouted laughingly "Okay, just leave the keys with us!" Right dude. Somebody else shouted "Beautiful car!!" Then, the next day, my girl and I caught some dude pacing back and forth around my car in a Target parking lot. I tried to walk slowly so he could get a good look before we scared him off, but he was still gawking when we walked up. I know he totally felt embarrassed for getting caught checkin out my ride, cuz' he just started to walk away when he saw us approaching but alas, he turned and gave me props. Of course, he drove away in some '89 Escort or some crap, but whatever. Have yet to get props from someone in a really NICE ride.

I get that with my stock Si (new). I guess not too many people have seen them and they think its some space ship or new kind of car. It gets looks, thats for sure.

it's always nice to get props for a well tunned car. people stop to tell my car is nice with the black paint,shaved emblems, &17 " genmetal rims with polished lip. a work people always ask whos car it is and i play along like its not mine mine then i say ivve only had it a few months. then they're like wwhhaatt.
