on my way to work....
On the way to work today, and I passed an older grand am with dual exhaust and a TRD racing sticker. He also had a NOS sticker and a big ugly fake hood scoop. There were 3 guys in the car. 2 in front, and the back passenger was sitting in the middle, but up by his friends in front, with one hand on each friend's shoulder. Great, I have a ricey grand am, and the gay trifecta from hell riding inside.
I pass in the left lane, since I'm running late, and the guy takes this gesture as me wanting to race. It's amazing when you pass someone, that they think it means "come race me". I could have been a grandpa in a wheelcheer at a pedestrian crossing, and he'd probably have wanted to race. Though this POS would probably lose to the grandpa too.
He follows my lane movements for a while, as if shadowing me like he's a fricken lion stalking it's prey. He finally starts up on my right side to pass and I figure I'd let him and see if he really wanted to race. Sure he does.
He gets next to me and starts speeding up/slowing down, implying he wants to see what it looks like when my tail lights get smaller and smaller. Skippy in the middle/back/front gay seat is hopping up and down like a hyena on crack. I think he's more excited about racing than he is about being gay. He's also now slapping his hands on his friend's shoulders. At least that's all he's slapping right now. I decide to get the race over with, because if skippy gets any more excited, I would probably have to find the nearest concrete median and plow my car into it.
I downshift, and the guy either forgot he was racing, or his car just.... well.. sucks. I mean I know civics aren't demons at freeway speeds, but this was pathetic.
Anyways, hopefully I won't ever have to see skippy again.
