Hondaautomotiveparts.com SUCKS

I had to order a new shifter trim piece ($11). They add a $4.95 handling fee so it came to $16 before shipping. Somehow 3-day shipping came to $7.31 on this stupid thing. So I had $0.43 too little in my bank account to pay their retartedly high shipping and handline fees and now just got another fee of $32 for Insufficient funds. I am ready to kill them. This is stupid.
$11 item. $12 shipping + handling.
So this $11 item cost me $54.
I am so pissed, you have no idea!

I just emailed them and I hope they either feel bad and give me like a credit or something or get a good laugh at how bad I got screwed over 43 FVCKING CENTS!

Yeah I understand if it was like $5 or something but my bank is paying that $32 back. I am hellbent on it so I will not quit till it gets done. If nothing else Ill threaten to switch banks and post negative reviews on every website there is.
Hope I get this thing cleared up quickly, but I have to wait till monday since they are closed now.

i don't see how its there fault for you having less than a dollar in your account.. really, couldnt you just wait until the following paycheck to buy this? doesn't seem like its stopping your car from running?

Yup. Why are you blaming them for doing their job. You know and agree to their shipping and handling charges before you check out, so if you didn't want to pay that much, then you shouldn't be shopping there. 43 cents or 43 dollars, it's the same thing=you did not have enough money to pay for the order. They probably don't even know how much short you were by, the comps asks the bank for $16, and if the bank declines, the order is declined-it's not like it replies that you have $15.57 cents in the account. I don't see why you're blaming them.

EDIT:
Also when you buy from them you dont know what the shipping charge will be...this is all i got in my email.
Product Number Description Quantity Unit Price Total Price
77295-S5A-003ZA GARNISH ASSY., CENTER CONSOLE 1 $11.09 $11.09
Subtotal $11.09
Tax $0.00

I had like $23.something and it charged my like $23.whatever. I never in a million years thought shipping would be $7 when everywhere else it would be about $3.50. Thats why I got it. Reason im mad is how much shipping was
And my bank screwed me too with the deposit.

If you call and order you'll get a more accurate quote. It's your bank that sucks, not Majestic.

HOWEVER, Majestic does suck. I've placed a few orders from them now, and 3/5 have been perfect. The other two, they've sent me incorrect parts or left something out of the order. The last item I ordered, which was just a cheap dash trim piece, they sent me what appeared to be a radio bezel from a Passport. I sent them pictures, told them it was wrong, and they refused to admit that the part could never have come from ANY civic, let alone an 01. They reluctantly accepted my return without the restocking fee. Use their website, determine what you need, and then buy it from somewhere reputable, like College Hills Honda.

If you read their terms you would know all this already, and why its setup to charge you that way.

It really wasn't the sites fault... Although I've taking many accounts over the limit. My mom is a good talker, and gets it taken care of. I know how you feel.

I think a computer does the charging automatically.... you just gotta call and tell them what happened and I'm sure they'll take the fee off.

Samethign happened to me with T-Mobil.... I usually send them a money order before I get a bill and one time it turned out that my money order was like 90 cents short. Those fockers (the computer) disconnected my cell phone over 90 cents.... I was pissed. I called them and said what happened and they fixed everything.

I agree, shipping from majestic honda is stupid how they do it. there prices are the same as if you were to buy parts at a honda dealer through wholesale parts, and if you do buy on there webiste, with shipping and all it comes out to the same price as if you were to buy at the dealer, some parts that is, alot are cheaper though. And I always like to know how much shipping is before I buy something.

But like some people said, this isnt there fault, you should have had enough money in the bank incase something like this would happen.

My buddy always has the same problem. Hes always close to the 0 mark and he will eat at subway for 6.25 and he will go under .03 and that meal will cost him $40.00. I just say stop using bank cards if your running close - credit cards.

See i my case every time I order or deal with the local dealerships I get so pissed at them. They always try to tell me what I need or dont need. Or order me the wrong stuff. Its like as soon as I say Its extensively moddified I need these parts from this car, these from another, they just shut there ears off and F everything up. I like ordering from majestic. I dont care what it costs extra to be honest. I get what I pick out every time and it comes in 2 days every time. If I have a question I call them and they seem ok. Double check your cart b4 you check out all the way though. I had stuff in there on accident once and almost ordered a new motor on my CC. The limit was high enough, it would have gone through. lol

I dont like CC's cause they make you write checks or use a checking account, which I already use as a CC so not worth the extra step. But my bank screwed me. I deposited over $700 yesterday and by today it should be at least "Pending" but no. Their system is so stupid as soon as finals are over they are getting an ear full.
