D-Vus CIV is an Asshat i traded him my g5 front lip for his driver's side fender, but little did i know thar his fender was reapinted and didnt match the stock paint worth crap. but no, he never mentioned this and lead me to believe it was perfect and now my car looks like *** with a fender about 3 shades darker 
and if you are wondering how i know it was repainted, i looked close at the paint and noticed grooves from where it was sanded down to repaint cause the guy who painted it did a shitty job.

Rep Power: 368 I had that problem when I first had my front lip painted - my EL was already a year old and the guy painted it using OEM paint, not accounting for fade. Looked pretty far off, I was pissed. Silver IS a hard match though. Still, if he'd had it repainted he shoulda let you know. Good luck fixin it up man.
sorry to hear for your trouble.
I had a large part of my rear quater panel pushed in and scratched, the body shop paint matched it and used some aging stuff to make it blend it better.

Rep Power: 812 Okay not trying to take sides, but I thought it would be obvious about paint fading. A car kept in the garage and another kept in the sun for a few months will obviously be different. So maybe his fender has newer paint and yours is faded more. I would never buy painted parts and expect them to match. But that's just imo. Bodyshops charge lots of $$ to do exact paint matching...and they don't use the stock color.

Rep Power: 511 this guy is a total ****ing asshat. i think he has me ignored on 7thgen now so he cant read my pm's i send him along with ignored on AIM. can someone check his profile out and see when it says he was last active for me cause i get that he was last active a week or so ago. and also, feel free to PM his *** asking why he wont send the money.
