Batteriesareus.com sucks!

I decided to order the Optima Yellow top for our cars a while back, so on April 25th, I ordered one from tna-sports.com. After a couple of days with no tracking # sent, I called and they said it was out of stock so they refunded me because it would be a while before they got them.

So, on the Sunday before last, May 2nd, I placed an order at Batteriesareus.com. They had it for the same price, $114.95 shipped. By Thursday May 6th, my account online with them still said the order was processing so I gave 'em a call. The guy I talked to told me that he would have the tracking# to me by that afternoon, and so to clarify I asked if it had been shipped, and he said "yes". Friday afternoon rolls around... still no tracking info, and so I call again, talk to the same guy, he says "Oh, we'll have the tracking info to you by Monday". Again to clarify, I ask "Ok, so it has been shipped then, right?", to which he again said yes.

Monday May 10th at around 2:00pm, still no sign of shipment, so I call again, again talk to the same guy (there is apparently only one guy who deals with customers), and he says it will be up by that afternoon. I again ask and he again confirms that it has definitely been shipped.

Then comes Tuesday morning... 9a.m., and you guessed it, still no change. I call and talk to the same guy, and he says he was in a meeting and that it would be posted online within the hour. After I got off work at around 3:00pm that day, I checked again and still no sign, so I called again (By now I'm getting pissed off) and he says "I'll have the info posted as soon as I get a chance to update the account info". For the hell of it, I ask for a fourth time if it has been shipped and he for the fourth time says "yes".

So this morning comes and finally I get an e-mail from the UPS shipping ppl saying that they received billing information this morning, and the package would be picked up today! The guy had been blatantly lying to me time after time for like 5 days!! What an a$shole! So I'm finally going to get the battery around next Monday and let's hope it's the one I ordered.

If there's one thing I absolutely cannot stand in a business, it's dishonesty. If they'll lie about one thing, you never know what else they'll lie about. So long story short, order your Optima Yellow top Group 51 batteries from
WWW.TNA-SPORTS.COM , don't deal with the lying *****'s at batteriesaresus.com

Update: Scratch the whole getting it by Monday thing. The tracking # they sent me says that UPS still hasn't actually gotten the package. They have only received the billing information as of yesterday, and since they didn't get the battery yet, they took off their Estimated Delivery Date of Monday until future notice.

Also, apparently this guy has had an issue with them, too...

alright, finally got the battery today... nearly 3 weeks after ordering. I will say that it works great and my system plays as it should now, though.

So for everyone out there looking, if you want to get a yellow-top, go for it! but order it from someone else!
