Mods, I posted here to get more people to read this. Move if you have to but I was going for the exposure factor.
I just got off the phone with the customer service dept. at wheelmax.com. When I ordered my tires I asked for 205-40-17s but the guy said that their recommended tire size was 215-45-17. He basically convinced me to get that tire (because it costs $50 more, I guess). I told him my car was lowered with goldlines and he said it shouldn't matter. Well, now that my tires rub they said "raise the car back to stock!" B.S. I told them they recommended the wrong tires and should send me the right ones and I'd send them these. She said since I had driven on them a whole 25 miles that they can't take them back! So, be carefull when buying from them, make sure you order the right size tire and you don't need customer service, because it sux a donkey d!ck!

dude, that doens't matter who you order from, every time i bought rims / tires they specifically said DO NOT DRIVE ON THEM IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE TIRE SIZE......that sux that they rub, but he didn't tell you 215-45-17 was right just for the money, I org. had 205-40-17 cause i thought the same thing, I didn't drive on them, i put one on and it looked like my car had a lift kit on it. I swapped them for the 215-45-17 and they fit fine....
I had a horrible experience with their customer service too....long story, but it finally took me over 2 months to get the "correct" wheels i ordered.
They kept trying to tell me i ordered the wrong ones! They were such @sses on the phone!
I will never do business with them again

tires.com....great customer service...everything was great...cept the fact that the ups man left my rims and tires right in the driveway when no one was home...I should have told them I never got them

www.tirerack.com has excellent service and pretty good prices too, they have 3 warehouses so your practically guaranteed to get your tires within 3-4 days of when you ordered them.

Damn kid, you got the same treatment I did. Yeah, I won't be buying from them anymore, either. I won't recomend them as long as I live. yeah, they're cheap, but they suck ***!
I ordered my VX-8's from them. They asked if I had lugs nuts for them, I said no, and against my better judgement I let them sell me a set of lug nuts for freakin' $16. The nuts they sent me looks like they came off the shelf at Home Depot or something. Definitely not tuner style lugnuts. When I had America's Tires put my wheels on, I had to buy a set of lug nuts too. Stupid bastards.
