no the civic emblem is glued on. all it takes is a hair dryer to remove it. the "H" is held in by tabs through holes in the trunk, but your ex,lx,hx, what have you doesnt.

Is the "H" emblem held on by double sided tape as well as the two tabs that go into the trunk or is it just the two tabs?

"H" is held on by tabs in the trunk, if you raise your trunk you can tell.

SeCosCiV is an unknown quantity at this point
Well, when I replaced my emblem with the indiglo one I had this really thin screwdriver and i just opened up my trunk and pressed in on the tabs. Be careful and look at the little ridges around the tabs when your doing it and they will come out with out breaking.

Ya tabs break easily but when I changed my symbol I didn't need the tabs the double sided 3m tape has held it for a good 6-7 months.
