I finally put my brand new Greddy EVO on today. I must say the sound is great, better than I expected. Not loud, not like a weed wacker, but a nice deep tone.

Just installed it today so I know it will get louder, but hopefully not too much louder cuz I already like the way it sounds. The car seems a little more responsive as well, but you know not much cuz our engines dont respond well to mods. But all in all, I believe this was a great buy.

It'll get just a tad bit louder, not much, but you're still gonna love it. I love how mine sounds. I'm always getting compliments on how mine sounds. Sometimes I just turn the radio off and listen to the exhaust while I'm driving.

i love the way mine sounds as well, although im not pleased with how it rattles against the underside of my car, i bent it and when i turn right hard it still does it, so when i get my header this weekend im taking it to a muffler shop and just let him do it

nope i looked under my car the other night and every still looks A+ condition..

i dont think i've ever heard of GReddy rusting at all, whether it'd be the muffler canister or the piping at all...

if im corect is it in something i forgot but i know its not stainless steel is it. my first to buy the end of summer was the tanable, but i search everywhere for a 4dr lx carback and can't find it. so i guess i'll be buying the greddy evo

Well I dunno whats goin on. For those of you with the greddy, is it a real deep tone? Like around lower RPM's it's low tone which is nice, but kinda make my ears rattle. When I gunned it past 4000 RPM the sound on the inside got quieter. Just wondering if it's normal cuz the Greddy is getting louder.

Dont get me wrong, I still llike it, but just wondering if you guys have the same sound.

Yes, it is normal, everything is just breaking in. When I floor mine and around 5k+ rpm all I hear is my intake. I dunno what it sounds like outside of the car though, people have told me it sounds mean. Your greddy is gonna stay low its just breaking in don't worry about it. And mine isn't rusting and I've had it since november.

I bought my EVO last week and had it installed (thanks whizkidz!)...it does have a nice low sound to it...i wouldn't necessarily say its close to stock though...but its quiet enough for me...i highly recommend it!
