Let me first say that I loved my 02 EX 5-speed coupe, I really miss it, the thing probably
saved my life.
But I bought a 03 Si today and its basically "apples to oranges".
The Si is so much more solid feeling overall, fit and finish compared to my EX isn't close.
No rattles, drives smooth as silk, handles extremely well, it rides so much better, plus the extra Horse Power is very well recieved on the Highway.
I know a lot of people think the Si is over priced, and a bit "uneasy" on the eyes but once you have drove a 02 EX for 1 and a half years; like I have, you really see the extra cash you spend is well worth it.
Speaking of price I was able to get my Si for $17,000 plus 6.5% tax and title, and I got finacing through Honda @ 1.9 % for 48 months. So my payments accually when down; and get this!, my insurance rate also went down $25 per 6 months, (I have had Gieco for 8 years and they worked with me so well this last week).
Anyhow I really love my Si, its in the garage with just 62 miles on it, so I need to get back to it
and polish it a bit more.

I did a lot of research on the Si and found out it was designed by Honda's German engineers, and it has a lot of Europian "flavor" not to mention the final build desonation was in Wilshire England. The engine and transmission was built in Japan, and a lot of the body panels were made here in the USA, but it was put together over "there". Which probably added to the overall cost.
Yeah, i like them but only sometimes. Like civictec1ps's looks really nice and then im like, wow, i like that, but 90% of the time i look at them and just think, god thats hidious. Very odd car...
