i heard you put the kit on the car to make sure it fits correctly...

Then if it does fit correctly

take it off, and paint it, then put it back on

you all might not like to ride with an unpainted kit but its good to for a few weeks or so. A few reasons come to my mind. 1-its lower(usually) than your OEM bumper and nothign sucks worse then getting it put on and you accidently hit a drive way and have to repair it and repaint it. Get used to driving it before you paint it cause its alot cheaper to repair a bumper than it is to repair AND repaint. 2- most kits(especially fiberglass) tend not to fit great. I notices where the bumper goes around the grill and meets the hood is always a good place for vibration and once you paint it the paint will start to chip. I took a sharpie and colored the tops of this peice black and about 2 days later the marker was gone cause the vibration made the bumper rub againt the hood and would have taken off the paint. You cant tell its going to rub until it does. Youd be suprised how much a bumper actually shakes and moves on the road.i still didnt sand that part down enough and have a little chip where it rubs againt the hood.a fre other spots are like that as well. SOrry for the lenghtly reply

what do ya do if it doesn't fit exactly? I ordered a G5 kit a few weeks ago, and it should be in anytime, so any help with installing it will be great.
