Which?Leather or racing seats?
WHat do you guys think? Buy a Katskin leather kit to recover the fornt and back seats with leather(2 tone-black and red inside) or just buy racing seats and recover the back?

Man I'm in the same situation as you. But I narrow it down. I'm thinking that if you want to make my car look sporty then you should go with the racing seat but if you want to make it just a nice cruser I would go with the leather.

I have been debating the same things... racing seats vs. leather. I want my car to still be a daily driver, so I have decided on leather seats. Plus after a couple of trips to the dealership I realized that there are important sensors in my seats plus I have the side airbags... so red/black leather it is for me... plus I love the R33 kit you have... thats on my wish list too. By the way... your ride looks good!

lol, well, its not the R33 kit but it will be intresting to see how your car turns out., How long have you had it?i bought mine about 7 months ago and the day after i got it i put my taillights wing and front bumper on. Ive put too much money in it so far.lol. I think i might just go with leather as well.Plus that GB is still on civicspot.com for like 550 shipped so thats not bad at all.Its about the same for racing seats but this covers the back and the door panels too so its a hard decision.
I sure wish my car was newer

Since your car is red w/black interior, definately go with racing seats. I've got the same dillema, but I've got a white car with tan interior, which is harder to match.

I'd get leather because it is a whole set front and rear seats.
But if you can afford it get the front seats and have the upolstery redone to match the front seats.
That my friend would be tight as hell Custom tenzo rear seats.
Or figure a way to mount front sytle seats in the back.
I haven't seen it done yet.

I was going to do the leather in front and back. But, my front seat rocks like no other. I know I can get it fixed, but I hear that it comes back after a little while. So I think I will just get racing seats and reupolster the rear ones.

EBAY!
Here is a link to the tenzo seats with the buy it now option for $439.00.
Just pick a style and color.
Most places charge $600.00 + shipping.
As for the matching the front to the rear got to a car upolstery shop and they can match the cloth and also get the logo embroidered.

I bought my car in Dec. 2001, so I've had it for about a year and a half.
Also, I was looking at the Tenzo R seats and ebay has the best prices for them. They look tight in red. Reupholstering the rear seats will look nice, but it will be kinda expensive. I have seen it done before, mostly in trailer queens.
Good luck.
I'm going to put RSX leather seats in my car when i get the money. I have side airbags and so do the RSX leather seats, plus, i want my front a back seats to match. I am going to wrap the backseat in black leather too.
Plus, im not a huge fan of racing seats in a civic (or any economy car). Fly, your do look nice though :-D

If you get sparco seats there is a member that is selling spaco seat fabric for the rear seats.
