I am so pissed off I want to kill someone. After school today I walked to my car to find someone ****** keyed my car from front to back. This is ****** college and someone did this. I dont know what to do? I dont want to pay that ****** insurance deductable. Will my insurance raise if i do report it and get it fixed. Im worried about the quality of paint because I heard orginal paint is best
. Im gonna go cry to myself now

Anytime that you report something to your insurance and have them pay to get something fixed, your premium will go up. Doesn't it **** you off how F'ing disrespectful people can be?!!?!? I got a HUGE dent, so deep in the paint that there's actually a silver spot, on my birthday. AT SCHOOL!!! Needless to say, I park as far away from everyone as possible now.
i think you can report this under insurance as a comprehensive claim which does not raise your insurance.(I THINK)
i think you are allowed so many comprehensive claims per year, if you are so covered of course.

Original paint is not the best, not by a long shot.
If you take the car to a Quality paint shop, with a Good painter, the refinish will be better then the original. The only reason you hear that the original is best is because For every Good paint shop their are 8 Bad ones. and most people cant tell the difference between the Two untill its done.
When you get it painted, take it to a Reputible Body shop.
Ask what type of Paint they are going to use. Either Organic or Synthetic. AVOID SYNThetic Paint at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some Good brand name paint to use (Spies-Hecker, Glasserit, Dupont)
Make shure that they are going to use a 2 Stage paint. Single stage paint Fades quicker, and is Less resiliant to the weather.
Remember, You get what you pay for. So dont cheep out on your paint.
Good luck with that.

Yea you would think this sh*t doesnt happen in college. In high School I would expect it. I saw it and wanted to cry. I was getting my primered bodykit painted too. This sucks so much...
I got full coverage on the car.. Im not sure how this is gonna work. If the whole car has to be painted over again? let me give you a visual. The flame stickers alot of people have on tehre car. It streches out taht long.

See. I asked the sercurity about it. They said they cant do anything about it. I would love to find out who did this. I would pay them back ten times harder.
As for paint, you think insrance would pay for a good paint job?

Actually Honda paint (especially on the cheaper cars it produces [read: Civic]) is very thin and crappy. Ever notice how easy it picks up paint chips and swirls in the clear coat? As a matter of fact, Id be willing to bet you could get a BETTER paint job by having a quality aftermarket body shop repaint it.

First.
The Insurance co is required to repair the car to Pre accedent condition.
Second.
The Insurance Co can not force you to use any Paint shop. You own/Lease the car not the Insurance co. Take the car to some place you trust.
Third.
The Insurance Co will pay for a "Reasonabl" Repair. Take the Car and Get Several Estimates. That will give you the average cost for the repair.
Oh ya, I forgot... Make shure they do the car right. If they have to paint the whole car, make shure they disassemble it. As in Remove hood, Bumpers, Front and rear windows, Trunk Ect..... If you see them Spot fixing a bumper and spraying it while its on the car, go some where else.

So since I have full coverage all I have to do is pay the 500 deductable? And they will pay for a quality shop to do it? If so I would buy a kit and have them paint it too

That SUCKS! have a few
or what ever and chill there isn't a damn thing you can to at this point but deal with it.
Well if you want to change the color of your ride nows the time.
Trust ME I have seen way worse.
I had a friend with a hooked up CRX kit paint everything.
I crashed at his pad and the next morning the car was keyed, doors kicked in, all the windows broke and someone jumped on the sunroof and hood until it caved in.
Well I hope that Karma get the best of the perpatraitor.
I hope that this wasn't a reaction for something that you did or said to someone.
Back track your thoughs and think of people with possible issues with you or the friends of friends. Just a thought.
Well best of luck. I hope you sucka!

It depends on your insurance company. Most will only pay for OEM stuff. But it's not unusual for someone to get in an accident and use that opportunity to get aftermarket parts. They'll only give you the money for the OEM paint job, but for not much extra, you could get some custom paint job done.
Call your insurance company and ask.

yeah, the insurance company can usually be to ur benefit and end up getting u a few extras for ur car, but like it was said earlier, it all depends on ur insurance company!
oh, and dont feel so bad, at least u didnt come to the parking lot and find ur car like this:
