We just recently bought a 2001 Honda Civic LX. What is the HP/TQ rating for a 1.7L? 1/4 mile times for a stock LX? What performance parts give you the more bang for your buck?
Im trying to figure where to start first.

Basically there isn't a whole lot you can do get more bang for your buck unless your bucks are going towards a K20 swap or a turbo. Subtle improvements can be found by just stickingto the basics of intake, and exhaust. The only header, to my knowledge, available at this time for the LX eliminates the catalytic-converter, and thats made by Kamikazi.... or you could get away with an HP header w/ a high flow cat and add O2 simulators.

Nitrus has the best hp to cost ratio. If you have money I would go with boost (turbo). use the search option at the top of the page to find out about other mods.
