Did you have the right tools to compress the spring? Or were you trying it superman style?

Just get it done right. $150- $200 sounds okay.

Toca def. bring it to a place to get it put it.......I think Ultima Performace in Lynbrook did mine for like 150 or 175, I can't remember. Give them a call 5165933500. You have to make an appointment, they do really good work.

HAHAH WTF YOU COULDNT COMPRESS IT?? ALL YOU DO IS PUSH IT DOWN AND TIGHTEN IT!!! if its not tightening then you might have a blown shock cause it probably sank down. Spring compressors are useless. Just push the spring down and get a friend to throw the nut on there and start tightening it. Easy as that.

yea you have 2 options to do.

You can go and get a spring compressor from a auto parts store, like i think you put a deposit of around 40 dollars and they loan it to you to use. Thats if you know what your doin.

Or you can go and have them professionally installed, mine was 100 bills, but it was way better than me and my friends strugglin to install the things. If your gonna do somethin do it right the first time, thats my moto.
