dude, i can't freakin decide
. i just got my 03 civic coupe LAST weekend. i got a grand to throw right now, and i can't decide what to get done first...
Options:
1) H&R lowering springs (plus the installation/alightment), camber kit, and miscellaneous appearance mods.
2) some nice wheels and tires, and miscellaneous appearance mods.
3) Apexi N1 cat-back (plus installation) and miscellaneous appearance mods.
Vote and maybe give your opinion why. Or if you give a suggestion about somethin i havn't thought about yet. DO plan on getting all these installed at some point, the dilemma lays in what to get first. help a bro out...thanks

I got my rims for $800 shipped with rubber . . . you just gotta look for deals. I would get a drop before the rims though cuz' I regretted doing it the other way. IMO though I would get a system before all.
And yeah, don't get 16's.

why such a distaste for 16s? you can launch a bit faster with 16s. plus they don't look that small...way better than stock 14s. correct me if i'm wrong...but yeah, methinx the general consensus is to drop it first. i like i like.

launch?...we drive a civic not a space shuttle...unless your going all out on motor work just get what looks good.
you can drop it with rims for 1 grand...just find a good deal on used set of 17's and springs...

geeeeeeez, smoke me for using the wrong terminology!!! its just easier to start rollin on 16s than 17s, is all i was tryin to say. ok, sure maybe the difference of required torque is minimal, but its a true statement.
honestly it depends on the 16" rims in question. if you're getting say rota slipstreams/spoon sw388's, of course they'll be sweet cause they only come in 16. also, nice race rims like volk TE-37's look better in 16 IMO than 18. however if you're getting rims like the ones most people have on this site, 5spoke, konig tantrum/motegi mr7 style, velox vx8, etc, bigger is better.
