Hey all, I'm new here, and I'm a new Civic owner. The proud owner of a 2003 lx coupe. I wanna get some mods for her, but i really dont know what to do. I'm on a really tight budject at the moment, as a student and all, and I've never done this before. If anyone lives in the Studio City/North Hollywood/Los Angeles area and knows of any good import shops I would be more appreciative. I also would like to see your cars if you got one and live near me, esp if its hardcore modded, I would like to know the work that goes into adding an exhaust or header, seeing that im probably gonna end up doing it on my own. So, gimme your opinion on first mods, im thinking body kit, exhaust, aem intake, and new rims, oh, and for that rice effect, im getting streetglows soon.

PS, anyone know if they make turbos for 2003s?

i hope u kno that kits run over a thousand installed and painted, u better start out small pal, maybe u should like start piece by piece. hope u got plenty of money if u want rims or a kit. maybe an intake would be ur first thing, turbos are a couple thousand. exhuast are like 500.

my friend got an integra, so i havta be able to burn him, but i wanna look good, nothing TOOOO flashy, i was thinking about that xenon kit, but itl havta wait till i get money, that is unless, you all chip in a few dollars to my cause [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] lowering would be nice, but i hate to see these guys with scratched or cracked rear bumpers. I wouldnt lower more than 1 or 2", just enough for it to be noticeable. as for go? ill probably get that aem short ram... has anyone got that? is it any good? and an exhaust tip for the moment. Man, a turbo would be schweet, but expensive, and i dont think they make any for 2003s yet. a little shot of Nos might be nice, but not for a good while. i think i need a job more than anything. Anyone need a website? I make it cheap for you, or ill work for an exhaust.

hrm... other friends say they might be getting a supra mk4, and an rsx-s, that might pose considerable challenge to a civy, i think ill need a bigger 'H' to deal with them.

lol.. well.. you'll get owned by the supra, and probably the S, but civics generally take pretty well to nitrous, i think they got about 60whp and 110 torque with the 50 shot NX kit

yup that could be right, but then, thats like what, 600 for rims, then tires are antoher 400 plus mounting and balancing and lug nuts and locks and then comes suspension which is another 1000 unless u want a 4x4. maybe u should rethink the rims, i think the best first mod is tints, i see cars with tints and even i think they look good, cuz its dark, and i dont got tints yet i got rims, wing, tails, exhaust, etc. im definitely getting tints next.
