Argh... so after having all these parts sitting around my house I finally got around to installing them with help from my friend John (SZA) from clubsi.
We ran into all sorts of problems though. First I don’t have the right AN fittings, and I need to make a custom brass Tee, then the AN line was the wrong length, then the solenoid was leaking and on and on... but we finally got everything together. Here’s the blow by blow...
Before the madness begins...
At this point just the intake was removed. Here’s the dry system I started out with. Bare bones, no frills heaters, window switches or anything else.

Here’s my custom interior lightening job. Heh. We had to run the wire for the bottle heater to the trunk so we poked it though a grommet in the firewall and zip tied it to the N20 line which runs under the carpet...

More mad weight reduction yo... (That’s the back & the N20 line seat if you can’t tell)

My uber cool custom fabricated fuel line tee. Much thanks to john for putting it together w/ the help of the guys down @ Napa.
You have no idea how much Vaseline it took to get that thing in there.

Ahhh.. the uber cool looking MSD Window switch install...

YEA! My bottle heater works. And John was REALLY impressed by the quality of the kit. BITE ME NX! HAHAHAHAHA! 145 dollars for better quality parts and finer pressure adjustments ownz j00!

My custom switch install. The one on the top is the master arm... that’s old.
However (thanks to john’s suggestion) I was able to mount the purge and bottle heater switches in my change drawer. I had to dremmel like 2 lbs of plastic behind the dash to fit the backs of the switches in order to close the compartment. You can see where the dremel got the better of me @ 4 in the morning and I took a piece of the exterior dash out just below the mastAr arm. Heh. Oops.

WOAH! Watch out now.
Brake line which is equal to -4AN line in diameter. When I waste some more N20 ill post pics of the 12+ foot high plume it makes Not sure exactly how high it reaches but I can tell you it hit the roof of SZAs garage and at 50 MPH, with the bottle closed (just the pressure in the line) it purged hard enough to clear my field of vision with OUT hitting the windshield.

Ahh... and the fogger nozzle. I went all out and paid the extra 4 bucks to get the "Fogger2"
Wow.

And the finished rats nest consisting of 3 solenoids, all sorts of AN line and wire, 3 relays and god know how many zip ties...

Well... anyway we ended up testing to see if each line flowed N20 and fuel respectively. Checked the bottle heater (works, got it up to 950 PSI), all the switches worked as they should, purge was HUGE (after we fixed the loose solenoid which was leaking). Reved the engine up past $k to check the window switch. Reset the CEL acquired from pulling the intake, changed the oil, put in new NGK plugs (-7es') and we were off to test out my new wet system.
Dead stop on open road. I launch in 1st as usual, and nail it quite nicely. As soon as I hit 2nd I arm the system and it PULLS like a ****... for about 2 seconds then it bogs. I immediately let off the gas.
Perhaps it’s the window switch? We run again from 3K in 2nd. It engages at 4 just as it should, I get a huge surge of torque then 5500 hits and ban, it’s like it shut off. We stop right there, pop the hood and I do a quick visual inspection. Nothing seems to be wrong.
We drive it back to SZAs place to diagnose the problem.
Turns out we forgot to check the jet sizes. We were using the jets for a 50 shot DRY on the new wet set up, which means I was injecting LESS then what was required for a 50 shot in the nitrous department and way more fuel then needed.
Problem solved.
So now, I have a perfectly functioning wet kit, w/ purge bottle heater window switch and the whole deal, but I can’t use it because im missing 2 microscopic brass jets. Damn it.
Oh heres the engine Johns building...

And the curent one. Soon to have a 150 shot.

Thanks for all the help!
Nice job joe. Whats the running tally on the total system with bottel (even though you probably are using your old one, add that cost in to) And what shot are you running? I dont think you said in your post. Late

Bought the dry kit used for 300 bucks. That included the bottle. The guy i bought it from had a red prelude, hence why its painted red.
35.00 (after tax) to fill the damn thing...
13 bucks for the full throttle micro swicth..
80 bucks for the MSD window switch...
145 for the bottle heater...
an extra 65 for the fuel solenoid (NOS dry kits have 2 nitrous solenoids, so if you upgrade to wet, you can use the extra solenoid for the purge instead of needing to buy another one)...
probably close to 50 bucks for all the extra SS line and AN fittings/switches/wires
20 bucks for the nitrous pressure gauge
25 bucks for the Bottle mounting brackets (those didnt come with the kit)
Fogger nozzle was 32 dollars
and thats about it.
as soon as I get the CORRECT jets for the wet set up, I will be running a 65 street 75 track.
Total?
765 bucks.
I do my own labor.

Ok, I broke down and compromised. Just ordered the 70 shot pills. That should tide me until I get my MSD-D6 w/ automatic timing retard and upgraded fuel pump. 80 shot here I come.
