RSX ***** on Civic HVAC controls!!! AMAZING!!!

So I needed to do SOMETHING to my car. I decided to see if the RSX ***** of the radio would fit on our HVAC controls and they DO! It requires some modifications though. The ***** are too tall to begin with. You need to cut them down by about 1/4 inch or just to the little ridges. I used a dremel (very carefully!) Next you need to pop off your HVAC control ***** and also remove the small metal clip that also is on the **** spindle. It may have come off with the **** so just remember that. Just push them on and they fit and make the dash area look better. You lose the lighted indicators though, but I haven't been annoyed yet. Its easy to tell what they're on, either just turn to one side and count the clicks till its on the right setting. Its not that bad, really. I may try to drill a 1/16" hole in them and fill it with some white glue and tape a piece of vinyl them same color to the back and see if that works. I think it would. So, if you don't have anything better to do, try it!

Ouch guys, I guess thats a general thunmbs down... I like them anyway, they brighten up the interior. There are some other silver accents inside and they match those. All that black just isn't cool. I think I need to post some better pictures.

I got them from an Acura dealer in St Paul while I was up there and they were 6 bucks each, then in Milwaukee they run $11 each at Acura of Brookfield, go figure...

maybe if your center console trim piece was silver it would look better..... DIY paint it and then show us... you'll get more
