General help in direction please

Hay all I'm soon going to start turning my 02 ex (silver) into my own creation. My current game plan is 20% tint all around 17inch gunmetal
Montegi (sp?) M7s don't know about rubber brand yet, Diy Cleared headlights Diy side markers and most likely a gunmetal or black crome tail
light assembly. I am thinking about an one inch drop and kit but don't know which one yet ideas suggestions welcome on any and all items
mentioned. Thanks and have a great day all.

Motegi MR7's are 25 lbs each... HEAVY. One inch drop is not noticable. Get a grill...

Wow... I envy your courage in driving around WL on 17's. I fear for my 15's in the potholes around here. As for the drop... 1" isn't going to look like anything. I originally wanted to drop mine no more than 1.5", but now I want to drop it closer to 2". Clear Headlights on silver look very clean... need any help doing it, PM me, if I'm free one weekend, I'll be glad to help. I'd leave the stock tails where they are... but that's my opinion... There's too many Purdue Ricers with very tacky altezzas that you may become associated with. The other thing is, clearing the lights and making the tails darker is kind of a contradiction. If you're gonna do it, chrome TYC's would probably go well... It gives the car almost a totally silver appearance (see Yukonart's ride).

PS- You probably should have stuffed this in "Members Rides".

APRboy is on a distinguished road
Go with some lightweight rims. I just got Advanti Racing S112's in 18's and they weigh only 22 lbs and they are priced very well. Go to Group buys Forum and you'll see pics.

one inch drop on 17's without a kit will not look low at all. with a kit, it has a OEM look to it (instead of monster truck lifted), but if you want the "dropped" look, get something at least 1.5" if there's a lot of potholes around where you live, i would recommend no more than 1.75"

Why are you guys criticizing him about the weight of the wheels? It's quite obvious that he is not aiming to modify the performance of his car, so who cares about the weight of the wheels? Maybe...JUST MAYBE...he is getting those wheels cause he likes the way they look. Whoa...what a concept.

wow, did someone do something to you as a child? Chill out man, the people were hardly criticizing the member but rather commented on the weight of the wheels because "maybe...JUST MAYBE" he should think about that in case he's planning on performance mods in the future.

Thanks for the help guys greatly appericated sorry about the wrong location S2000. I know about the weight of the rims the reason I am going that direction is because I can get the rims and tires for $500 bucks. Now my other question is about side markers.... I can't decide
if I want to go with side markers or with a M3 style mirror any ideas???? Thanks again all.
