WTF? Undercover Civic?
Kinda makes me think of when you hear on the news about people who get pulled over in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere by what they think is a cop because of the sirens and lights and then they get murdered or worse. BTW if that ever happens to anyone, use your cell phone to call the police department and see if the car trying to pull you over is indeed a cop, may save your life one day, you never know.

If you look at all his pics, he looks like he belongs to a rescue squad - I believe they're allowed to mount emergency equipment on their private cars in case they're needed...So it does serve a purpose. And yes, that's me owning grey

Guys, he's an EMT.
The strobes are there to make people realize he needs to get someplace (fast) and that you should move the hell out of the way.

No, it is not illegal.
My father is an EMT and has 4 sets of strobes wired to his CLK. If you're the one that had the heart attack, or wrapped your Vic around a tree, you're not gonna want some morons keeping the rescuers from getting to you. The strobes are a lot more effective than the stupid single blue light on the roof.
Plus the strobes look dope

you can have strobes if you're an EMT, but you can only use blue strobes if you're a police officer

god I hate ignorance.
To all the people hating on police and rescue personel, I'd like to take this time you tell you that you're a moron.
It disgusts me that you can't realize just how important these people are. Do you get up at 2 in the morning to help some punkass kid like yourself who wrapped his car around a tree? Do you bust into a house blazing with fire to save a family? Have you ever actually helped someone and not expected anything back besides the feeling of goodness you get from it?
I doubt any of you selfish bastards answered "Yes" to any of these questions. Just think before you say stupid things. My entire family is involved in VOLUNTEER rescue stuff (firefighting, ambulance service, search and rescue dive team, police) so I take **** like this personally.
As to the strobes, they are a lot more effective than conventional means of alerting people, so I think they are definitely a good idea.

that' s prety coo if you ask me but if i saw a civic with strobes speeding the chances of me really believing they are a REscue EMS is pretty slim but i'll still move aside so they dont hit my baby.
my strobes are unplugged now but i might get two more, put them together and hook them up to my Alarm
when i get it installed in a week or two
