Bought Integra GS-R, good deal?
Well I traded the 15 second EX for a 2001 GS-R with 29k on it. I don't know whether or not it was a good deal, according to them I paid $17k for the GSR and got $13k for the EX. Which brought me from $360 for 48 more months to $390 for 60 more months. The car is definately
and I feel lucky to have gotten $13k out of my car when it had over $8k of damage last year. Tell me what you all think?
BTW: GSR has AEM intake, DC header, and ITR cams.

sounds like you got a deal on getting rid of the Vic considering you had that much damage done to it ..... couldn't tell you if you got a deal on the Teg ,,,,, but post pics when you get a chance
well, how much did you have left to pay off on the civic? It sounds like the teg was a bit over priced..... kelly blue book on a 2001 teg gsr with 29k on it is around 15k with the base equipment the gsr comes with in "good" condition...if it was loaded, then you got a decent deal...if it was the base, you got screwed
The car had every possible option, heated leather seats, 8 speaker audio system, dual power seats and everything. I did have it checked out by a mechanic and he said everything was good, there was less soot in its exhaust tip than the one that was on my civic for 8 months. When I opened it up today it even had that just getting broke in smell (i think).

well then you didnt get to bad a deal man. you will be very happy with that car if there are no problems with it. and as you problly already know, the options of what to do with that thing are endless. good luck and pics!
if you would have looked around you can find 97-98 and sometimes 00 Type R's for what you paid for that GSR...I agree shouldnt have went over 15 for it, but it is an improvement over the Civic huh

I think $390 a month is way too much to be paying on a teg, especially for 5 years. That's a huge payment. Looks like you got a little more for your civic than you should have and they charged you a little more for the teg..that's how it goes..
You got a nice damn car though...so enjoy it and don't wreck the ****!

This is kinda of topic but I have a question.
I want to get a used car but when you get a loan for a used car they only give you 80% of the value and I dont have the other 20%. When you buy a car from the dealer is it the same or is it like a loan for a new car and dont have to put alot down.
If someone could help me out it would be great.
thanks

my friend got a gsr for that price but it was only a month old and no mods!!! i agree i would have had it checked befoe buying... you never know who drove it and if they treated the car right! alot of times people "dog" out their cars esp. since its modded! but oh well
Yeah bad credit and no $ down pwn me in interest payments. Kinda blows but it'll be paid off in 2 yrs, throwing 5k at it in the next month before the interest compounds. I know i've seen Type-Rs close to this price, but not within 200 miles. I've looked for six months, and this is the first GSR under 20k I've seen. Kinda gay but lots of ricers buy em here as soon as they hit the lots. And it is a pretty damn big improvement over the ex. Also found out it has a chipped P28
