About time for a trade-in..

I think I have decided to trade my car in within the next few months if all goes well. I've decided to buy an 03' Jetta GLS 1.8T. I like the Jetta's a lot. They have a lot of potential for power too.

Awesome... I would have gotten a VW if they all didn't look the same. (the only unique VW is their beetle. Jettas, cabrios, golfs and one other type VW all look alike)

I agree, the Jetta looks like a small Passat, but then I guess a argument could be made by saying that the Civics look a lot like Accords.

I want black, but it is so hard to take care of. It shows any kind of dirt, scratch, or dent. If I don't get black, I will probably get the silver. Which ever one I get I want to get black leather interior.

But it's pretty easy to tell an Accord from a lot of Civics. If you put the VW lineup in one lot with out any emblems, it might be hard for most people to tell which is which. I can tell the Golf because they're hatchies. That's what I would've chosen if I didn't buy a Civic.

Honda didn't give a new name for every one of their cars with a certain amount of door. There's a Civic sedan AND coupe AND hatchback. What VW did was just give a name for each one of those. 4 doors = passat, 2 doors = cabrio, 3 doors = golf. Still look the same though.

I got black and I love it, but I got a tan leather interior (no I don't have a jetta) - i know what you mean, its hard as hell keeping it clean, but when it is clean, it looks awesome....

I agree....to me it's probably the best looking color when cleaned and taken care of. My civic is black, but I'm not liking the black metallic paint. It has way too many metallic chips in it. When I look at it up close, about all I see are purple and blue metallic chips.

I'm sort of biased since my dad owns a Jetta GLI, but they're damn nice. He has a gunmetal color one with silverish interior. The gunmetal has a nice little bit of flake in it. But it's not an easy car to tune. APR hasn't started work with the VR6 yet. The 1.8Ts can get up to 290 with a little bit of work. Its a nice choice man, but be careful, those clutches are extremely touchey.

I did have plans for it. And what I already got I'm going to have to sell. I'm going to end up losing an *** load of money on things.

Not sure how much I will get out of those rims. I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot of money. I have the HP Racing header if you want to buy that. It would go right along with your cat-back. It's never been used either.
