I found a 95 black civic hatch with a gsr motor in it with intake, header, exhaust, pullies, ecu, and all the basic bolt ons. The guy is selling it for 5,000. should i trade in my 01 and buy it or stick with the 7th gen??

I'd only buy it if you have a mechanic look it over & make sure nothing is about ready to crap out on you. I'd almost guarantee you that the car has been ran really hard, why else would that guy have spent the money for all that stuff? Have a mechanic look at it real good.

Yup, its probably been raced all to hell and about to throw a rod or something. I'd have it checked out really good by a mechanic who knows his shiznit. It could be a good deal cuz i found a 92 300z for 20k when i was looking for a new car, but my dad didn't want me to have a car that powerful. This car had stillen everything. I wish i could find a picture of it. I mean this car had every high performance part made for a 300z and was in perfect shape with only 12k miles on a brand new jspec motor in it. Sometimes you get lucky and find cars like that.

I know someone selling a 5th gen hatch w/ new type-R engine. The car is fast as hell. Beat another guy I knows supercharged Prelude. He is just trying to get rid of it now so he can start a new project.
