Rep Power: 340 Rim under plexiglass...
Ok, when I got my rims put on a few weeks back, the moron really messed one up. There were eight places with at least two gouges in each place. After fighting with the guy for a while, I got him to agree to buy me a new rim. So, I will have five. I'd like to do a little custom piece in my trunk after I get the damaged rim refinished. I'd like to have the outer part of my trunk done in thicker carpet, while having a plexiglass window in the middle looking down to the rim. Has anybody done this, or are there any sites that have directions/ materials lists for something like this? Also, would it be worthwhile in your opinion?

Rep Power: 559 ive seen that done, not on a 7thGen tho. there is a photo floating around somewhere with a guys custom trunk setup. he has subs in there, with the full size alloy replacement in the middle (like you say). i dont remember if he had it under plexiglass, but he put a little motor in there so the wheel spins...it looked really cool. and blue neons all over. clean looking setup, even tho it doesnt sound like it would be....it looked bada$$.

Rep Power: 0 something like this a friend and I built this for his '91 legend about a year back. We put the plexiglass on to hinges on the rear so you could lift the class and get the wheel out if you got a flat. We also put some blue neons in it for a cooler effect.

Rep Power: 340 TRIPLExRATED - Thank you. That is exactly what I want to do. Do you have a materials list/ directions? I've got a few other questions I'd like to ask. Please email me at DWasson85@yahoo.com
