Why would you trade your civic for an eclipse.....I would of kept the civic. Honda Quality is be far better than Mitsu quality....Especially the New Eclipse. It may be sportier but it is not better....good luck with it though....Just thank god you have a 3 year warranty...

How about..... 200 Hp, Leather interior, stock 17 inch rims, lower car, smaller car, faster car, and how is it not better ??? I've had no problems with it to date ....I have an extended warrenty should anything happen ..... plus it looks a lot better than the civic .......

I have a 2001 Eclipse GT V6 auto so I have researched the topic. Here is the dyno chart for a V6 Eclipse Auto from Club 3g. As you
can see before turbo 146hp at the front wheel and after 5psi its at 259hp.

Rep Power: 0 the eclipse is a nice car...i like it, it looks good, yes it is faster then our civics, and they can look a lot better then our civics when modified...stock civic and stock eclipse....id take the civic...but i still think the eclipse is an awesome car, my brother has one and the only thing i dont like about it is that its a bitch to drive. That is why i got a civic over a celica because its easier to drive, plus my civic is my commuter car so gas mileage and whatnot (even though i think the celica has good gas mileage). Anyways, i like your eclipse the new 2003 have phat bumper and interior enhancements over the 2001 and 2002 so it looks good yo....and a turbo would kick that thing up a few hp[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 I like both because I own both. When your just talking about a good car the civic is better because hondas are way better than mitsus.
The eclipse is faster but it is also alot more than a civic about 5gs more. They are both great cars and I really like both. I just
think the eclipse is a little over priced for the performance you get. For the same price you can get a rsx-s or a wrx which both perform better
from the factory but all that really matters is that it meets your needs and you like it.
