New to the game but this is a start at least my 2002 Civic EX

I dont have any pictures of the inside because nothing has been done to it yet. I only have very minor mods such as the tint and an alarm but I thought I would share. This is my first time doing any posting anywhere. I plan on getting some wheels early next year and new sound system. Can anyone recommend a cheap place to get some rims and audio system? I live in the south bay area of LA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The car looks nice. What do you consider cheap for rims? Mine were more than a lot of people pay, but a lot of people pay much more. And before someone else tells you, chrome + civic = ghetto. Get some nice silver ones. Everyone starts out small though, tint usually. You can say goodbye to your money, coz you're gonna be broke after the modding bug bites you.

Yeah I am definitely wanting to go with silver rims. I have seen some nice rims packages with tires for about 1000-1200 bucks. Do you know any good websites that has good deals? Thanks for the help!

It all depends on what you want. I got my rims from wheelmax and they had very good service. You get what you pay for when dealing with this stuff. The tires wheelmax carries in their packages are decent (better than stock) but I decided to go with Bridgestone Potenzas. I paid a bunch for them, but they definately handle better. (Tires were from tirerack) If you're not worried about that though, I can just say wheelmax is good. I've also heard whalen tire is good. I'd say about $1200-$1300 is a decent price for a good set of rims and tires. Oh, and wheelmax also has free shipping right now.

No chrome plz Keep it clean with silver. Also for modding... the way alot of us started is with the intake. Its an easy and fairly inexpensive mod and you learn more about your car!

K&N FIPK is supposed to have the best gains, I noticed some on my car. It sounds cool, I know that. But the pickup just increases slightly. Don't expect the world though, remember - you drive an I4, not a V8. So if the only gain you notice is the cool sound the intake makes, don't be mad.

Yeah I guess intakes do more good for sticks than automatics ..I will have to think about putting one in someday.

No, its not really a stick vs auto thing. I drive an auto, so the gains I described were on an auto. It basically comes down to the fact that without a lot of money, you just can't get a lot of power out of our D17 engines (and, to an extent, I4s in general.)

Alot of people are selling rims in marketplace if you wanna check that out, some racing harts, velox and other brands don't know if you want used rims. Try wheelmax they have good service my friend has ordered rims from there.
