HALO GAUGE CLUSTER CONVERSION

Well here i am again, After posting the first TYC halo conversion i thought to myself what Else could i make with this and this is what I came up with, HALO"S IN THE GAUGE CLUSTER....I'm not really big on the white face indaglow gauge's so i made my own style....TWO full halo's one around the MPH and TACH and two half halo's for the temp and gas gauge...All the markings are the same as the normal gauges are...except for the tac and mph....i just went by 10's...but thinking about putting them on now that i think about it....WHAT DO YOU THINK? I will be useing blue HYPER L.E.D's so you know it's going to be hella bright...maybe I'll use a p.o.t to controll brightness....YA ! thats what I"ll do...damn now i need to go to Radio Shack...ANYWAYS I will be posting pics tomorrow night befor i close it all up....Maybe I'll make it a DIY....STAY TUNED...and let me know what you think.....

To Getto or NOt...

I wouldn't do it. The TYC halo's are kinda k3wl. Guage cluster halo's? Not k3wl IMO.

i think it could look cool as long as the rings arent as thick as the headlight halos. i dont know where you can find a thinner acrylic rod tho. what did you end up doing? where did you get it if not at home depot?

as far as the pot, im not sure...but look at the hyperblinker DIY, there was talk about hooking up a pot to make the hyperblinker adjustable, so that size pot might work for you too. how come you cant wire it to the stock adjuster? so that it adjusts all the guages.

dont want to hack the stock wireing.....pluse i dont want to cause a short, I've pulled out the gauge cluster a grip of times and left it out for a while and the milage and info on the screen never changes, so some where there is a brain that holds the mem ....thats what I'm afraid of...shorting that out...but what could get lost ( my milage...that would be cool ) Well i figure everything is worth a try for the first time u never know what looks cool and what doesnt till you see it, but i respect Your OP gray. Look at the guy making led washers...... and i think those are so getto...lol. but i bet he's kicking back laughing his off for some one telling him not to do it.....now he's making bank

I'll dake a look at the DIY section..thanks for pointing it out.....you can have my first mill....
