update on car...
well i am getting my block back thursday. i have my rods and everything ready to go. i will be pulling all nighters thurs and fri. trying to get it back on the road by saterday. hopefully everythng works out and goes together smoothly. i wil keep u updated on how things go

Were you ever able to "look up" answers to my questions?
Like the overlap and duration of your cam shaft? I would think you'd have wanted to know that information when you bought it... considering how you want your car to remain "streetable".
And you never answered joeb16/hondaguru on what number was engraved on your nitrous nozzles.
And why you bought new rods when the stock rods on a 7th gen are forged and can take 500+ hp? You should have just had the stock rods shotpeened.... rather than blow money on new rods. Of course then again, if you never actually did any of these mods, then it never cost you a cent, now did it?

Rep Power: 400 Oh, and I'd also like to know what garage you had this done at, since the laws of physics apparently don't apply to your car, considering half of the crap you claim to have done, wouldn't be possible without dyno tuning.
Oh well, actually it's possible, your car just wouldn't run, that's all. Not to mention you would probably have piston/valve contact.

Rep Power: 0 im just curious but why would u need a dyno for his car if hes doing all this stuff? i mean yea u need one to see if it made an effect on the car but .... im not trying to take sides or anything im just asking and my bro rebuilt a 69 camaro in his two car garage one winter so maybe black99vtec is using his garage at his house , or if hes in school maybe the auto tech garage? im just asking and again im not trying to take sides

Rep Power: 0 oh yea and black99vtec if you are lying about this WHOLE project that you are doing on your 7th gen u might as well stop now and fess up rather than pushing it on and just getting made fun of even more.. and while your car is apart in the garage or whatever whats your daily driver car? where did u learn to work on cars? are you ase certified? also i better hope u know what your doing before u screw up your new car for good man. if you really are doiing this project then show us some actual pictures that are in focus so we can see, we wont make fun of u if u shhow us pics we just wanna see for ourselves and get ideas for our own cars. also if u lie people tend to loose respect for you,also they never know when u are telling the truth

The only person who should care about that is xxx99vtec. When it's finished, hopefully there will be something worth looking at to result into something worth talking about. Rep Power: 0 i am doing this in my garage. i have not gone to school or anything i am actualy a chef at a resturant. i have learned all i know about cars thru friends that own shops and i have been into this for about 2 years andi have learned a lot in thoes two years. the reason there was no dyno after i had my top end built. is cause i knew that i didnt care what kinda gains it gave me cause i wasnt done. why waste money on dyno runs untill ur project is done. it is now almost done so u will see very soon. i have bought my bro a camcorder for his b-day for tommrow. so now i can also put up a movie of this. for thoes who dont believe me oh well. i really dont care what u think but i cant wait to show ya what our motors are capeable of! i think it was best put when some one refered to me as galaleo! the only reason u dont think i am for real is cause it have never been attempted. i am the first. and i am the first to take it appart in my own garage with no schooling on this or anything. i am just ur adverage 19 yr old guy building a really fast street car. so if ya dont believe me and when i put up dyno for 400+ hp i know there will still be people out there saying its not my car. so it will be inthe show at carsile this spring and they have dyno jets out htere in the show so u will deff see it up on there for all of u that go out you can se for urselfs.

I have only one piece of advice for you. When people ask you very specific questions (ie. what #'s are on your nitrous injectors) you should always answer those first. Don't BS and beat around the bush, as it will make people think you are lying. I read all of your posts, and can count at least 5 specific questions that you either dodge or never answer... why? I don't beleive or disbelieve you, but I would think that if you just give the people what they want, then you will have an easier time of convincing us of a 400hp 7th gen. you dig?

Rep Power: 0 Well I am not going to flame on this thread if I can help it, but I know this guy might be one of those back yard mechanic, and who knows might know his stuff. Liek everyone else I am thinking this guy is a bit shaddy because he is not answering the questions put fourth, and well I am not beleiving that a D17 engine will push 400+ HP, I could be wrong, and I think when / if we all see the proof then we will all retract our statements, me included.
But I am going to call for some proof of all this stuff, pics, links, somthing, ect ......
