Put my civic in a ditch today....
This is not the best way to start off your day. Im glad that I had since enough to only drive about 5MPH in 2nd gear down my street in the snow, otherwise my car would probibly be pretty messed up. I had just pulled out of my driveway and got about 300 feet down my street when my car started going sideways I took my foot off the gas and tried to steer out of it but that did nothing. So I tried powering out of it, that didnt work either. Then I tried the brakes and the damn car just kept sliding untill it was pointed towards the ditch and gently slid in. I think it had something to do with the "crowned" roads (they are raised in the center so that rain runs off the road) where I live that are never plowed. Its pretty embarassing having to call your boss and say you'll be late b/c your car is in a ditch when you work for a body shop. So after I used my mothers Suburban 4x4 to pull it out I was glad to see that there was no damage.

Rep Power: 0 Consider taking your rims and tires off for the winter and putting back the stock ones. I find that they give a little better traction. I live in Massachusetts and got about 6 in. today. I love power sliding in the snow!

Rep Power: 330 If I had pulled the e-brake the car would have done a 180 and i would have slid into those litle trees to the left and right of my car broadside.
