Just take it back and tell a little fib that you noticed the spot was messed up.

They'll fix it in no time.

My tint shop told me to wait 3 days before rolling down my windows. As long as you wait that long and the ding isn't at the edge where it could be pealed up or come loose. You should be fine.

Just go in and explain to them what happened. At the place I go to, they'd probably redo the window for $20 or something like that. But thats because my dad and I do a good amount of business with them. The only reason to get it fixed is if it bothers you. There is no physical harm that will occur because of a little scratch. The tint will still do its function of keeping some light & heat out, it just won't look quite as good.

your tint should have some kind of warranty for scratch.. just tell them that you noticed a scratch on the tint. it is your word against theirs... so maybe they will do it for free.. you just gotta framE them!

"what? i didnt do anything! i paid for new flawless tint.. not scratched tint!"

yo...

the best thing would be to retint the window!!! My roommate threw his circuit bd in my car and nailed the back window. It was in my old car during college. Pissed me off but anyways it was about a 2inch scratch. I just used a little nail polish on a toothpick...(clear of course) I owed the car for 3 more years with no probs.

Yeah I would just take it back and see what they can do I had my passenger window re done because it was peeling. Then I had my front doors stripped and had 22% put on, then after that I was sick of 22% and told them to do 13% but not much difference between 13% and 6% so I have limo all around to match the car. But yeah there are a few flaws in the tint but too small to really notice better then a home tint job.

You should pay for the window to be redone considering that you are the one that messed it up. Let's have some morals and ethics around here.

Anyhow, it only needs to be redone if it bothers you like someone else already said.

Shadup. Tint has a lifetime warrantee. So what if he made a mistake. It's no skin off of the dealers nose to fix it in 5 mins.
