Aftermarket Sideskirts and 14" Steelies can it go thru snow?
Anybody try this? Will I be too hella low? Cause I have been contemplating if I should put my stock springs on,
scared I won't be able to clear speed bumps and snow and stuff.
Here's a pretty good idea of how much clearance i have now with my 17" rims

Rep Power: 0 damn, nice ride. Hey could you tell me what kind of wheels those are? I'm looking to get 17" 6-spoke rims, just can't decide between chrome and silver. but yeah, you should be alright. how much of a drop do you have?

Put your oem springs back on, you are way too low for snow.
If you have any fiberglass and you're jus 'thinking' about putting the old spings back on ur not thinking smart at all. Fiberglass not only cracks but it creates spiders under the primer(spidered paint). Don't TAKE ANY CHANCES! even cold weather can eat fiberglass up, snow with a lil frost and some water on the streets and not only will the paint crack but if u go over a railroad IT WILL SHATTER, I'VE SEEN THIS with my eyes, Im from south Chicago.
I have a kit waiting at my house and no I will not put it on till mid Febuary. You spent a lot of money on that ride, don't take any chances, it's not even a 'chance' your kit will get messed up and you'll feel like crap cuz u listened to some idiot on the forums or you were lazy. Even urathane's paint will chip, I've seen this too, even ask torquen2k1 and InamineCarbonRod on the forums, we kno plenty of ppl South of Chicago with kits and its nuttin but paint chips, shatters, or spiders on their urthane or fiberglass.

Rep Power: 327 coilovers can get ruined in the winter, the salt and stuff from the roads corrodes it, you'll be stuck at one height until you buy another set

I can't stress that enough.
It's good that your suspension is stock, this does help in the winter and better than slamming it. If you don't think salt will ever hit your bumpers/ skirts then you're fine but as we all kno salt eats away especially on your rims. Don't forget about daily drivers and mud/water splashings. Don't take any chances, your ride is nice, keep it that way.

Rep Power: 0 Even with a standard height, you can hang up a front wheel drive care pretty easily. I had an Olds Calais and got it stuck in the driveway. Going through fairly deep snow, the bumper plowed the snow up and it went under the car until the front wheels were actually off the ground. Had to dig it out underneath to get it going again. I figure if your car is low, that could happen even in 4 inches of new snow.

Rep Power: 0 i have the Tsunami kit, and this is the 2nd winter with it on my ride. people who know me said my car was too low for the snow. i got coilovers, but never raised it up. As long as u have a quality paint job, you should be OK. i never seen your ride, and don't hold me too any of this, but i never had a problem and my kit is urethane. Just be really careful...

Rep Power: 327 my eclipse was extremely low, i just put on snow tires and that was that, dont drive in deep snow its pretty easy, roads get plowed quickly these days, just watch for hidden potholes and black ice

Rep Power: 0 I like the ride yeah I would put it back to stock and throw some steelies on. Yeah I am here in the NorthWest we don't get much snow just lots of rain and mud so the main winter mths when we get the weather I plan on taking my rims off.

i brought it to my mechanic, he put in my stock springs and steelies, now my ride is so much better, no more bumping around
but i'm as high as the sky........
