Hey guys well I know some of you are very territorial to your 7th gen civic sites. I just wanted to let yall know that my car is the ride of the month for 2001civic.com I know some of you dont like the sight and some others do but I love both sites. So if yall want check it out and see my car on the front page. and either in december or january I'm going to the main feature car for silent rage. and starting next show season I'm going to be silent rages MAIN sponsored car. I'm so excited. Well I hope I'm doing my best to rep the 7thgen civic to the fullest.

Come on man, lighten up. Car mags been doing all that stuff for as long as I can remember. Nothing new under the sun. Since you are a senior moderator, I expect a little more maturity and moderation.

PS: I started reading car mags in 1949, so I've seen a few.

They've got the same exact site as this one; plus they started theirs after this one, so it looks like they're copy cats. Anything original would be good. Here, it's not that hard. Let me name a couple of things:

- A page that describes every part available for the 7th gen civic. Gives a picture, a description, and some reviews. With the possibility for member's of the site to add more reviews for that part. Original and not on 7thgencivic.com...

- A Member's Rides Page guestbook. Have member's of that site be able to comment on other people's rides and have everyone else see the guestbook. Sort of like a mini forum for each ride. Again, pretty original and not on 7thgencivic.com...

- Auto-Chat: have a chat frame active for each section of the forums you're in. This way you can automatically talk to whoever is in a certain section of the site. Like Off Topic for example...

See, not that hard. That took me what? 5 minutes to come up with.

grey i know your partial to this site but come on man be open minded. I mean So one wanted to start their own site and got the idea from derek so derek should be happy that someone look up to him kinda and liked what he did and all. I mean if were going to say that he coppied derek then every company in the word is to blame for the same thing is someone made a product but then someone else mad the smae product then this is the same thing. You jsut have to be open minded. Your a great mod and I never thought u would take sides I though u were open to everything. and real quick before u get pissed and ban me When i get my sub frame bar in would u help me if i need it well over the net.

To me the site is just like every other damn forum out there. They are all the same, and I know because I am an administrator on a forum and I frequently visit different forums to see how we can improve.

Dude, I'm not pissed off. I rarely get pissed off. Right now I'm speaking as a user of this site, not as a moderator. I know about websites and I know about this tendency of sites to copy the format of another site. I ran a rather large website for a while and I made my content unique enought to stand out from the crowd. I'm sure that the users of that site make it unique, but besides that there is nothing unique about it.

I don't understand this whole "open mind" concept? I don't just make rash judgements; I call it as I see it. What I see with that site is a carbon copy of this one; although much less content. I'de like to see them come up with something unique to offer to the internet community. If they do. Hell, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. When they do I will start visiting that site.

ok but u never asnwered my second quesiton when i get my subframe bar in will u help me thru the internet if i need it? but I understand what your talking about but i have been talking to hima nd he is doing more stuff to it. you have to remember that he just opend that site two months ago and jsut changed servers so give it time who knows. lol.
