Thinking of switching from red to silver.....

Well, I just don't like where my interior is going. It started out ok, but I just don't like the look of it anymore. My car is SSM, but I've thrown a couple of red accents into the inside (Wheelskins cover, Momo **** and pedals), and thought I could do some more to make it look good, but the thought of doing a DIY red dash on a silver car just keeps sounding more and more tacky. So I'm thinking about switching the stuff to silver. In other words, sell the red leather wheel cover and the shift ****, and get new silver ones. The thing that really pisses me off is that all of it is less than 2 months old. So if any of you red car drivers feel the need for a matching shift **** and wheel cover, PM me and let me know you're interested (reasonably priced for the age of the stuff), I also have everything you will need to put them in your car (extra thread and needle for the wheelskins, and the screws/mounting bushings for the ****), but I'm still thinking about it right now. What do you guys think? Should I go to silver, also do the dash and match the car? I'm just looking for opinions. The other option I can think of is keep what is red, then do the dash in silver... Anyone like the idea of this? I'm having trouble picturing it....

Hey Boiler
I'm interested in your whole set up. Wheel skin, ****, pedals, shift boot, and e-brake if you have it.
Pm me, i don't think yours is on right now.

PS.
What is the condition of the parts?? how long has it been in your car?

OK... here's an idea I just got. I think this would look real cool, unfortunately MS Paint sucks, but see if you get the idea. I want to do the reverse of what everyone else did. Paint the actual dash itself, and leave the panels black. So it would look like this...

and the audio panel would look like

The painting would stop at the split in the panels on top of the dash. I don't want the top to be silver because it would reflect sunlight into my face. The question is, can I do this myself? or how much would it cost to get it done. The actual dash would be silver (like the SI dash where the whole center is silver), not grey like paint made it look. The red stuff will not be there.
