installed -MY- neons
lol, seems like i'm following in the footsteps of civicdeveloper.. soon i'll even have the same rims
very sweet ride he has. anyway, over the course of my 5 day vacation, I got together with some friends to install the neons I had sitting around for a month. I never got around to installing them before due to a lack of information available on this site. but with the help of my friends we were able to figure things out pretty well. only thing I have to fix is the front neon tube-- it rests too low. where did you put yours, hm? I'll try to take pictures to show how I mounted everything to help others out there.

OMFG Mex. That looks hella tight! You must tell me what brand neons you used. And, after you do that I will run out and buy them and either you can drive down here or I'm going on a road trip and you must help me install mine! Definately looks sweet. I didn't think blue/silver would turn out good, but

yeah I was looking into green at first, but toward the end I gave in to blue. They're StreetGlow Gold Series neo-blue. The installation took us about 5-6 hours, most of the time we were goofing off and discussing how and where we would mount stuff. I had a friend of mine take care of all the wiring, since that was his thing baby, yeeah. the transformer and wireless receiver are just resting in the engine bay-- we jammed them underneath the top of the right fender. we drilled holes for the front tube (which didn't work, it rests too low), and rested the side tubes inside the OEM sideskirt.. the rear tube is just below the spare tire spot. like I said, i'll try to get pics. all we needed was some wire ties, electrical tape, drill with a phillips bit, and a socket wrench with different size.. things. lol, don't work with tools much. oh yeah, and jack stands. self tapping screws and nylon clamps came with the kit, but we only used those for the rear. ..still trying to figure out how to do the front tube right.. Hey man, good job indeed, looks very nice, yeah you really gotta watch that front one. i have a set of red neons under my black ex coupe and i have allready had to replace the front and rear tubes because i shattered them i have looked all over the place in the front but have yet to find a good place to put the front one. Where did you mount the rear one?
i will post pics of my ride when i get the dent fixed ( damn kids and their bikes) and when i get a new transformer for my under glow kit.

Yea I went with green because blue is illegal here in good ole' Texas bacause it's emergency vehicle colors. I still got pulled over for displaying blue light (they are green as hell) but I didn't argue with the cop and he let me go. Go figure...

Looks nice. I was debating about putting some in mine. But I gotta put em up high in the front to keep it from being visible through the grill. i use to have blue tubes before, but I got pulled for em, so I'm not certain about what color I wanna do now.
