Start of My Swap
And so it begins. I just picked up an F22B2 off kijiji for $100 that I’m going to be swapping into my EH2 in the spring. It came with a bunch of crap, including the distributor, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, plus a few extra bits and pieces. It’s basically a complete engine. The crank rotated without any resistance and the valve train is all moving and it doesn’t look out of line anywhere. I’ll post photos when I make more progress; the engine is currently sitting in the back of the hatch until my buddy is finished using his engine stand.

Re: Start of My Swap
Quick update: Sold the car because I didn't realize how bad the rust was. I removed the plastic trim on the rockers and they just started crumbling away instantly. So I dumped it and I'm just patiently waiting for something else. Still pissed off about it though haha

Re: Start of My Swap
I've actually found western Canada to be great for that because it's so dry here. The guy who bought it told me it was originally from Nova Scotia, which would explain why it's so bad. Old Honda's have never been great for rust though, so that probably killed it too

Re: Start of My Swap
I've been looking at cars in BC so I may have to take a trip out in the spring to go pick one up. Alberta inspectors don't give a damn about OOP so it'll be easy getting one in
