Hey guys, I have a question too... My car has close to 5000 miles on it now. Do you think thats still a bit too early to do engine work or should I just go for it? I've heard that if you do stuff too early then you'll be at higher risk to mess up ur engine in the long run.

you should wait till your warranty goes out before you start messin with the engine, call the dealer ship if you can and ask what mods would ruin your warranty, get other mods before you start workin on your engine thats what im doin until i can write a list and figure out what to put in mah engine

yeah, IMO our cars actually look quite nice w/o a rear spoiler. but then again, they look nice with one too! props to honda

I would go with the products that have had a lot of praise; like the magnaflow catback, ground control coilovers, eibach or neuspeed springs, clear the headlights or get projectors, but leave out the altezzas, there are better ways to spend 200 dollars. I like the Tsunami kit or the Skyline Kit. Do to your car what you think looks good.

Sure man. It doesn't say "Type R" on it anywhere.

Be careful how you talk to me. I'm a diamond member, you know.

Good move on the pedals. Are you going to get shocks? Sport springs and OE shocks, won't do much for you.

Oh yeah, and keep the spoiler. People who don't like the OEM spoiler either are too cheap to buy one or too lazy to install one, or they like them big ricey almuminum wings.

apology accepted fourkilos...us 7thgen civic owners just need to get along, I know that my ride is an EX, but a very good friend of the family is the Head Guy at the honda dealership where i bought it from, and i wanted to get leather seats put in, so he threw in a few extras (the blue piping and type R stitching)...and the pedals, well i just happened to like the style, its not like I bought it because it's TYPE R! atleast im not throwing type R emblems all over my exterior....now that's ricey
